PinnedThank you all for participating in the first challenge of our Wrike Community Ice-Breaker Marathon 2023 ๐ - your responses were incredibly thoughtful and imaginative ๐คฉ A big round of applause for Danielle Wilson for winning the first challenge ๐ฅณ
DAY 2:
If you were to see your year in Calendar View, which week, month, or quarter would be your favorite and why?
We all have a season we prefer, or specific dates we celebrate for special occasions ๐ If I had to choose a season, winter would be my selection - as I'm not a huge fan of hot weather ๐ฅต
If there's a month or week you cherish but also anticipate some challenges, remember that in the Calendar View, you can filter out those tasks youโd prefer not to see - wouldnโt it be amazing if life functioned the same way? ๐
Donโt let a moment pass โฐ; share your favorite time in the comment section for a chance to win a spot at a live Collaborate 2023 Training of your choice (value $299)!
As always, one winner will be selected at random. You can find the full T&Cs for today's competition here. Moreover, remember participating in all daily challenges gives you an extra chance to win aย $100 Amazon voucher! Check out the full T&Cs for this here.
Looking forward to reliving your unique moments!
I enjoy most the holidays with my kids, in winter and in summer.
But the summer holidays last longer - so this is my favourite! :Dย
July would be my selection, not only for holidays, but also for my birthday and our wedding anniversary!
Spring because it contains so much postive energy: great temperature/weather for outdoor activities, love it when the garden starts to bloom.
Actually I like every season.
Maybe the late fall less, because at this time there is usually annual project completion stress, and usually also at this time the mountain climbing and skiing is not so fun.
For me would be august, i love the summer, always sunny and rarely rains!
This is a really hard choice for me. There are things we do as a family that I really enjoy in all the seasons. However, I'll have to say July wins because we enjoy swimming and being outside together. It also means the kids aren't couped up and can go outside to play.ย
I would choose September - the start of school, early fall foliage, slightly cooler temperatures but no snow yet, apple picking, and lots of time outside.ย
I would want to see July of this year - I got to spend a lot of time with my family and I love the weather!
I would have to say October. The weather is starting to cool, but it's not cold. The trees change to the autumn colors. Oh, and HALLOWEEN! ย ๐
My calendar view would be Fall - still warm days, lots of activities including apple and pumpkin picking, halloween and back to school!
It is certainly August, when I can spend time with my family and my children, going to the mountains and enjoying the coolness of the high altitudes.
I would always pick the week between Christmas and New Years - I have nothing scheduled and I have time to see family and friends.
I would say September/October for the weather, the crispness in the air/cooling down of temperatures, and football season (American football that is)!ย
I'm going to have to go with 4th quarter ... the holidays! I only see my dad a few times a year and this is one of them plus love October weather!!!
October ๐๐
It's a magical time of year here in southeastern Pennsylvania, and work projects tend to be more interesting.
Autumn/Fall !ย
ย
It is the most beautiful time of year where the nights draw in, the stars shine extra bright and you get the chance to see all of nature busying about getting ready for hte winter. It is the best family snuggling time to after a brisk air walk or day out in the park! it for me is a perfect season/quatre for outside and inside play!ย
I would definitely say the Fall. The weather is more amenable to going out and doing things and also it's when my birthday is!
December 24-30
Time for family, holiday celebrations, and birthdays. There's nothing more valuable than spending quality time with the people in your life.ย
While I appreciate the holidays and season change that accompany the Fall months, I always look most forward to the Summer. All the garden plants have come to life, the sun is shining, a summer-appropriate vacation may be just around the corner... ahh ๐ด๐
I love summer and winter most.ย Why winter? Because my birthday is on a Boxing day and I get three presents - for birthday, Xmas and New Year !
Christmas time. From 24th to 31st of December. Free for family.
July - usually this is my first vacation weeks of the year!!ย ย
December is my favorite month. At work we have several wonderful events, at home we have family activities and school gets out for the holidays. So much family time packed into such a short time period. I love it all.
I prefer April and spring, because there is my birthday!
I like Spring/Summer because that is softball season!
Summer: simply because I have more time with my child when he's out of school.ย
Pumpkin Spice Season!!ย ย Fall with the multiple colors of nature.ย ย Each year my family gets together to freeze apple pies to enjoy throughout the year.ย ย It is a favorite memory of all those that have helped in the past and all the new family.
I'd see the year as a whole - there's pros and cons to all the seasons! But with the British weather they're unpredictable!! Specifics, I'd filter out the last 14 weeks - we've been having building works done and it's been horrible living there. But there'd be a milestone showing for 3 weeks time when everythign will be finished ;-)
I prefer the autumn season, generally speaking it has some of the best outdoor activities and, of course, my second favorite holiday: Halloween! Therefore, I'd prefer to see in my calendar view the whole season of Fall with all the fun requisite autumnal activities.
Spring time, for sure. I love watching everything wake up again, and start to bloom. Garden planning is done and being put into action. Days are getting longer. There's so much to love about spring time!
(my anniversary and then birthday also mean lots of extra time with my family, which is a bonus!)
