[From Wrike] Wrike Lightspeed Training Session Follow-Up: FAQs ๐
Pinned FeaturedHi everyone ๐
Thanks for your interest in our Community training dedicated to Wrike Lightspeed ๐ค We have now hosted two sessions on August 2 and August 9, and today, weโd like to share some of the frequently asked questions and answers with you!ย
Letโs dive in! ๐
The most burning question: Where to find the sessionโs recording?ย
Easy! Go to the Wrike Discover websiteโs Live and On-Demand Training section - you will find the recording, as well as other sessions, there.
What features are included in Wrike Lightspeed?ย
Wrike Lightspeed is our newly updated platform that helps you do your best work with ease. It includes multiple innovations and design improvements. Our current release is focused on the reimagined user experience, and the features that we highlight during the training are New Table view, New Board view, Item view, Chart view (available in Wrike Labs), and Simplified navigation across your work in Wrike.
How to access Wrike Lightspeed?ย
Rolling out Wrike Lightspeed to all accounts kicked off this month and will span over a few weeks. If your account hasnโt been transitioned yet, you can enable the self-service Wrike Lightspeed toggle for your individual workspace. Account admins and owners will also be notified about the rollout in advance by your Wrikeโs Account team or via email and in-app communication channels. Weโll also show the same notifications to the regular users closer to the rollout date. Feel free to get in touch with your Account Manager, your Customer Success Manager, or the Support team here at Wrike if you have any questions about Wrike Lightspeed. We are here to help you!ย
On which plans is Wrke Lightspeed available?
Wrike Lightspeed is available on all types of accounts!ย
Is Wrike Lightspeed at an additional price?ย
Thereโs no additional price.
Is Wrike Lightspeed different from our current Wrike workspace?ย
Wrike Lightspeed is your Wrike workspace plus improved views and new capabilities, as well as design enhancements. Itโs a combination of what you love about Wrike, some improved functionality, as well as brand new additions like Chart view.ย
How to access Chart view?
Chart view is currently available in Wrike Labs - you can enable it there for your individual workspace. Weโll notify you separately when itโs available in-product.
Is List view going away?
List view, as well as the Classic Table view, are being merged into one - the New Table view. This updated view combines a task list with filters, sorting, and mass actions with the spreadsheet-like table with enhanced functionality.ย
At the same time, we understand that many users have been enjoying the simplicity of the List view, so weโve decided to give you a bit more time to adjust. The List view will still be available for some weeks after full transition to Wrike Lightspeed. Weโll keep you posted on its availability.ย
Is the current state of Wrike Lightspeed features final?ย
Wrike is always evolving and we keep introducing more enhancements almost every day. The current views will give you a good idea of the direction weโre taking with the updates, but there will be more tweaks in the coming weeks and months. For example, some of you have expressed concerns about the latest updates to the Item view, so our Product team is planning more enhancements for it to make sure you like using it.ย
Will it be possible to go back to classic views after the transition?ย
Once the full rollout of Wrike Lightspeed to all accounts happens, there will be no way back to the classic views. However, weโll keep some views available for you to make sure you have time to adjust your processes. For example, List view is going to remain available for some time.
When is Wrikeโs Help Center going to reflect the changes?ย
Weโre working hard on updating the articles with all the enhancements. There are also some users who are still using the classic workspace, so we need to keep some pages covering classic views and navigation for those users.ย
Will existing setups, workflows, reports, custom views etc. carry over to the new interface?
Thatโs the plan as weโre striving to make the transition as smooth as possible!ย
Where was the workspace search moved to?ย
In Wrike Lightspeed, the Search tool, as well as your profile picture with the access to settings, bin and help, is moved to the left-hand sidebar to ensure all navigation elements are in one place.ย
Whatโs the plan for the Home page?ย
To make sure you can access all your work on one navigation panel, we have moved your spaces, tools, and the pinned section to the left-hand sidebar for quick and easy access. You can now also customize the sidebar - you can set it up to only show the most used tools and hide the ones you donโt need that often, as well as customize the list of your spaces. The sidebar replaces the Home page to reduce the number of clicks and time you need to navigate to your work.ย
Is the Dark Mode going to be included in the Wrike Lightspeed release?ย
Yes! It is planned to be added this year, though might not be part of the current rollout. Our team is currently working on this solution, and we will let you know once itโs available!
Where to find more learning resources?

Lisa the question "Is the current state of Wrike Lightspeed features final?" should be extended to a second part: "when will the Lightspeed GUI so stable, that we can update our own guidelines in the company". At the moment changes are still so significant that I can not make screenshots for our internal guidelines. Yes Wrike had changes in the past (that was sometimes bad enough and much work), but at the moment Lightspeed is still a Beta Version for me and you are starting the rollout. Youselfe did not manage to update the help section up to now, so how do you expect the customers to update internal guidelines?
Want to second Sven Passinger. I am supposed to be hosting a training session as our organization is now fully rolling out Wrike and the previous training videos I've made are outdated but I can't be certain that any new videos will still be relevant in the coming months.
Hi folks! We hope that the training sessions we hosted recently, and their recording available on the Wrike Discover website, will make it easier for you to train your teams. I'm happy to let you know that the major changes and updates have already been implemented to the new views and the navigation, but we continue introducing some enhancements to make sure you enjoy Wrike Lightspeed. For example, the recent Item view update announcement is related to the feedback we received from you. Please stay tuned for more info on this topic in the coming days ๐
Our Help Center's Knowledge base consists of around 1000 articles, and our team strives to keep them all updated. At the moment, when some users have the classic experience, and others are on Wrike Lightspeed, we're have to support both versions, but soon only the Wrike Lightspeed articles will be available (once all accounts are moved to the updated platform).
Thank you for sharing your feedback, we really appreciate it!ย

When will the training videos be updated? I shouldn't have to basically create my own training because the video clips you provide are now outdated. It's such an important issue I don't understand why you haven't added new training videos that show the Lightroom setup. It's making it much harder for me to train my team.
Hi Nicole S, this is work in progress, thanks a lot for letting us know how important these videos are for your team. In the meantime, you can check out the recording of the recent Wrike Lightspeed training.ย
