Pause or snooze desktop and mobile app notifications

When members of my team don't want to receive desktop or mobile notifications — because they're doing an interview or trying to focus on deep work — the only way they can guarantee they won't be pinged by Wrike is to enable "Do Not Disturb" mode on their computer/mobile device. They then have to remember to turn that off when they want to receive notifications again. If there was a way to snooze those notifications for a period of time (an hour, a day, etc.) that would allow them to focus on the work or meetings in front of them instead of being constantly interrupted. This would also be helpful for PTO.

This would be great for me. Creating quiet/controlling the constant notifications from the array of tools our team uses is a struggle. An easily accessible drop down with some kind of visible on/off indicator would be great.

Thank you for your feedback here, folks!

It should be possible to snooze mobile notifications on our Android and iOS apps - please check out the settings in them. For example, here's how it looks like on Android:

Please let me know if that helps 🤗

Lisa, Can you share a screenshot of these settings in iOS? I don't see any option to customize notifications beyond toggling on/off stream notifications and weekly highlights reminder.

This is helpful, Lisa, but I don't see that option (or the timesheet option).

Hi Amanda Whitbred,

The difference in Lisa's screenshot vs your screenshot is due to the app version. Your screenshot shows how the app settings look in the latest version, while Lisa's screenshot comes from an earlier app version.

The option in Wrike's app for Timesheet notifications will only appear for those users with a subscription to Wrike Resource.

If you want to completely disable the notifications for Wrike's iOS app you'll need to go to the "Settings" of the iPhone itself.

In the iPhone settings, scroll down to the list of installed apps and find the Wrike app, then open the notification settings and turn them off or turn off the notification sounds.

You will need to manually turn the notifications back on when you're ready to receive them again. Wrike's app for Android has the ability to schedule notifications for certain hours of the day and to pause notifications during non-working hours and vacation, but this feature is not currently available for the iOS app.

I hope this information helps! Please give it a try and let us know how it goes 😄

Thanks, Aaron. I know we can turn off notifications in Settings, but I'd like to reiterate my original request for the ability to set a notification schedule and/or snooze notifications for both desktop and iOS. This is a great feature and one I'd love to be able to use on my iPhone!
