[Status: Not planned] Recurrent Parent + Subtasks
When making a recurrent task, I also need the subtasks of that parent task to be recurrent.

Lea Labastida / Yulia Kalinnikova - Not sure how far back you had looked in the thread, this issue has been open since 2017. At one point several years ago, they claimed they were going to fix this issue, started a team and interviewed several people on this thread (myself included), they then determined that were "technical issue" that is preventing them from adding this functionality and removed it from the roadmap. Plain English translation = The way Wrike was written/structured would require a very significant effort (a significant code rewrite) that Wrike is not willing to do thus far.

Not sure it's worth adding my voice to this after Scott Harris's update, but I'm going to anyway - this would be an incredibly helpful thing.

This task would be greatly helpful, but for now I am having to manually create templates for monthly deployments

Companies must listen to their customers needs and add the features that we, the customers, are asking for. At least 287 in this case, 5-times the number needed to get a feature request reviewed by development.

Please add this to the list to get done. As a task management platform it is a little embarrassing that subtasks do not become recurrent with parent tasks. You make updates every month, and they are usually great. But, seems like again, as a task management platform, this should be a priority to get done.

Keith Budurka and Stephen Blanton - This improvement has been reviewed by the product/development team. It was planned, then they determined there were "technical issue" that prevented them from adding this functionality and removed it from the roadmap. This was years ago (pre-COVID). I wish Wrike would just be honest and communicate that this is not going to be implemented.
