Project Dates

New to Wrike so this may be a simple question to answer!

On my project I have a number of sub projects with various sub-tasks. On the table view the system correctly recognises the start and finish date of my project however, when I go to timeline it doesn't correlate and I have to manually change the project timeline to reflect the dates in the table view.

Am I doing something really simple wrong?

Thanks!

Hi Paul, welcome to Wrike and the Community!

You're not doing anything wrong whatsoever! The Table View and Timeline look a little differently at the start and end dates for Projects. The Table View shows the start and end date of the Project based on the scheduled start and end dates of tasks in the Project . While Timeline shows the Project start date and end date as the dates you have entered manually for the Project itself.

I hope this helps, any questions, please let me know.
