Disabling user account?
Hello,
Would be great if I could disable a user account without having to delete it. When someone leaves the team (or a temp's contract finishes) it is still helpful seeing what projects they worked on or completed and being able to filter or search for their stuff.
Hey, Austin,
I usually downgrade users to collaborators and deactivate their account to keep this information intact.
Hmm, I don't see these options on my screen. Is this an Enterprise feature? I have the Marketing package.
Yes, I missed that.. This does appear to be an Enterprise only feature. That's stinks. See the first sentence here above the bullet points:

I'd expect you can still downgrade to a collaborator and change the individual's password.
Hi guys, it is an enterprise feature - but you can have Wrike for Marketers with Enterprise features. Downgrading someone to a Collaborator will definitely work as well!
Collaborator and removing from user groups is probably a sufficient solution for us. Thank you for your help, all!
Hi Wrike-- I'm following this post and needing this feature to 'deactivate' but not delete a use on the Business plan.
You're breaking established HR laws. You should have a company lawyer look into this ASAP. For legal reasons we cannot delete employee data for a period of 4 years after an employee is terminated as it is a STATE MANDATED requirement to keep it. This feature needs to be available on ALL plans really, otherwise you get in trouble with many state and federal laws.
(Additionally, you could save Wrike being named as part of potential lawsuits requesting historical user data by allowing your clients to deactivate, but not delete users. Otherwise, Wrike will have to do costly, time-consuming and completely unnecessary data exports for this purpose.)
Please activate it for all accounts ASAP.
