Hide or edit Standard Fields in the "List" view in a Project
When you are looking at a Project in the "List" view there are four standard fields: Owners, Start Date, Finish Date & Status. We would like the ability to edit the variables in Status and/or hide some of the fields; namely Start Date, End Date and most of all, Status.
We understand you can change the Project to a Folder (but then you loose features of using Project) and that you can add fields with customizable variables. However, for most of our projects we do not need those three mentioned fields. It tends to mislead our users and it clutters the overall view.
If there are any options to improve this situation, we'd love to hear it. More importantly we'd love to enter an enhancement request for those options/adjustments. Please let me know if you have any additional questions, or if you would like further clarification. Thanks for all you do!
Hi Deidra, thank you for taking the time to post such a detailed request! ⭐️ I actually do have some follow-up questions. Which Project attributes do you find useful (i.e. which ones keep you from using Folders instead), and why do you find the other ones not as relevant to your use case?
We would also be very interested in the ability to delete the "status" field from projects. We can't use folders bc we need to be able to report.
Hi - I'd really like this too. Specifically, I'd like to be able to see the "effort" field at the top of every task/project in List view. Somewhere here (see screenshot).

Hi Jessica Vodden, thanks for reaching out! I'm passing on your feedback to the team.
Everyone, please provide screenshots if you have a similar need here, it would help a lot to understand the design you're suggesting. Thank you!
