Hi Linnie, thanks for posting these questions! Currently, there are a few ways to receive email notifications about a submitted Request:

    • Choose the option to Follow "All Tasks"ย in the destination Folder/Project (where the Request lands after being submitted).
    • If you are assigned to a Request, you are also notified about incoming tasks.ย
    • Users should have email notifications enabled in their Profile, too. If they are the assignees, the option "Someone @mentions me or assigns me to a task" should be enabled. If they follow a Folder/Project, they should choose the options under "Other tasks I follow".

When a Request isย submitted internally, users are taken to the task right after they submit the Form, and they will continue getting notifications about any updates. If the Request is an External one, the submitter receives an email confirming that the Request has been received. This email also includes the number of the Request, and a copy of their answers for future reference. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions about this feature, I'll be happy to help :)

As Admin, we need to extend the scheduling of tasks on our system i.e. from 2017 to 2020 however we don't want our Collaborators to receive the adjusted dates notifications. Is there a way we can 'Turn Off Notifications to Collaborators' ? Phil

Hi Philip, thanks for reaching out here! There's no way to disable email notifications for all Collaborators in bulk, but they can definitely do this in their own Profileย Settings - all they need to do is uncheck the boxes related to notifications for date changed (and any others changes they don't want to be notified about):

Does this help? Happy to answer any other questions about notification settings!

    Hi Anastasia,

After much trial and error, my team and I have attempted to use your suggestions above by first turning on every email notification allowed under the profile settings, and then following the folder/project in which the request form generated project will live. We have gone back and forth and no one has received an inbox notification via wrike or an email notification.

    ย

We would very much appreciate some support to trouble shoot why this might be occurring. Are there any other settings that may keep a user from receiving these notifications?

    Regards,

    Michaelย

Welcome to the Community Michael. This doesn't sound right, so I'll raise a ticket with our Support Team to help investigate.

Please keep in mind that these settings need to be changed by every user. It's a user preference so it can't be set by an Admin for all users.

You'll receive a ticket confirmation by email soon. More help here on the Help Center in the meantime ๐Ÿ™‚ย

    Hi Stephen!ย

The instructions Anastasia provided were perfect and myself along with a colleague were able to set all settings in each of our profiles, while following the proper folders in order to test this functionality.

From whom should I receive a Support Ticket?

    Hi Stephen,

I have not received a notification from the Wrike support team yet. When should I expect communication?

If the URL to a request form is shared with external people who DON'T have a Wrike log-in:

1)ย  Does the submitter need to input their email address somewhere in the form in order to receive the automated email that their request has been received?

2)ย  When a request (task) has been Completed, will another automated email be sent to notify the submitter?

Hey! Anyone external filling out the form will need to enter their name, email, and CAPTCHA verification and once they submit the form, they receive an email to say it was submitted successfully.

More info available here on the Help Centre and if you have any questions, let me know ๐Ÿ˜Š

Stephen - Thanks for the link to the Help page about the external forms.ย  I had previously read that page but didn't notice the info about how external submitters will get an automatic email notification.

For anyone else wanting external form submitters to receive an automatic email notifying them that a task has been Completed, here's a link to a Product Feedback enhancement request that you can vote for:

    Hi @Gerry ๐Ÿ™‚

Here are the instructions on how to customize an email confirmation sent to someone who submits a Request.ย

Also, admins on Business accounts and up can upload company logos to these notifications:

    Hello Admin,

We have a similar issue with Michael. After a trial, we did not receive an email notification for any new request form that we submit via Wrike SW internal except for the external Request Form.ย

I've updated the folder to "follow all" and update my email preferences or notification checkbox (all are checked).ย

    Kindly please advise.

    Regards,

    Rasman

What I meant is that we need to tell users who submitted a form what to expect next.ย  There is just one single feedback for all forms which is not helpful.ย  The feedback we want to give needs to correspond to the form being submitted. Customization per form so we can tell users to expect a response the next day or in a week, what are the next steps, etc.

    This is very basic stuff.ย
