[Status: Backburner ⌛️] Ability to amend working hours per day
Wrike currently defaults to an 8 hour working day.
I would like to be able to change this as I have some team members who are only utilised 50% of the time.

Hi Sonia Sosa, thank you for this use case. It's been passed on to the Product team.
Hey everyone, some good news!
You can now customise how many hours in a day your team has in the Workload Chart through a feature in Labs. You can read more about the capabilities of this feature in this Help Centre article.
Be sure to check it out and let us know what you think.
@... To be more transparent, that improvement is only available for accounts with Wrike Professional Services or the Wrike Resource add-on. For the rest of us, the Gantt Chart quickly becomes obsolete if we want to do any hourly planning...
Our company is resorting back to more and more MS Project licences, which is really taking away the focus from Wrike for us. We need to be able to plan with at least a 12-hour work day in the Gantt Chart. Ideally a 24hr day so that we can manage shift work.
For our project management we need to plan tasks by the hour, not allocate how many hours each user has "available" per day (although I can see the benefit of that in other scenarios).
Is there any recent news on this? Will it progress before the new UX is launched? Or is all the development focus on the new UX right now? Thanks!
Thanks for this feature - it's a major game changer for us!
@... Super helpful comment from Soraya Jung! I'm frustrated by reading about helpful features in Wrike only to later discover we can only get those if we "upgrade" aka, spend more money.
I have a week of half-days planned, but I can't alter my schedule for that week to remind team members I will be unavailable each afternoon. Roadblocks like this discourage the use of Wrike on our team and make my job as Wrike cheerleader more difficult.
Hi Vicki Frame,
Thank you for sharing your input here. This use case has been shared with the Product team. If there are any changes, I'll be sure to let you know.
Still waiting for this 'feature' actually. Maybe available in Labs, but this is really BASIC and should be available for every account. (First report in 2017?)

Our organization works on a 7 hour/day schedule, with some staff working 6 hours and some working 5.5 hours/day. I would like to be able to specify the number of working hours for each user. I can't believe this feature isn't available yet, especially for what we are paying in license fees.
Thank you for letting us know your feedback, Johanna Pfalz!

We have shifted our team to a 7 hour work day. Without the ability to customize the workday away from the default 8/hr work day, our utilization reports are basically useless. Please prioritize this! Thank you.
Hi Sydney Schaef, welcome to the Community! 👋
Thanks a lot for supporting this idea! I'm checking with the Product team now to see if we can get an update from them. I'll let you know if there is one.

if we could right click duration and adjust the hours per day, that'd be helpful for resource planning. our facility has the capacity to function 24/7 and it'd be great if we could use hours versus days. just like 12h and 24h days.
Hello Cynthia Yeh, welcome to the Community!
Thank you for posting, I've shared your feedback with our Product team. At the moment, Workload charts have the option to have a non-8-hours workday if you'd like to consider using them 😊
hi @... , but workload charts is a "temporary" solution
reports and Wrike Analyze still consider a base of 40h for week , so they are not realistic , isn't it ?
is the product team working on it ? will be possible define for a single user a specific working hour schedule ?
Hi Francesco Trupia, there are no plans for this at the moment, but the team understands the need here and is aware of the popularity of the suggestion. If there are any changes to this we'll be sure to update the thread and let you know. Thanks for taking the time to share your feedback here 👍

Definitely need this feature, it's something that we'd use on a fairly regular basis and while there are workarounds, they're far from ideal
Thank you for your support here Laurelle Simleit! For now, there are no updates for this suggestion as it's not currently on the team's short-term plans, but we continue to pass on your interest here and we'll let you know if we have any news in the future.

We need ability to update work week to more or less than 40 hrs.
Thank you for your support Marie Doloc, your feedback is much appreciated 🙌🏼
Hello - What is the latest on this? Will we be able to have working hours based on user? Thanks, Sonia
Hi Sonia Wagner, welcome to the Community, and thank you for bumping this thread!
It's something our Product Team has been paying close attention to and they have plans to review it in the future, but it's currently not on their roadmap so I have no concrete information to share at this point.
I'll be sure to let you know if there are any updates in relation to this request👍🏼
Hello, Yes I agree that this is a key feature that is needed widely (we generally work to a 7.5hr day or 37.5hrs/week), so the assumption of an 8hr day is wrong & it skews the work plans. Is there a timeline on making this customisable?
Welcome to the Community Frank Massimino 👋 I've asked our team to provide an update if they have one; we'll get back to you 👍
