[Status: Not planned] Integrate with Microsoft Flows

Microsoft Flows allows us to integrate triggers and actions with Office 365, sharepoint, exchnage etc.   It would be good for Wrike to be available here.   This might be easier given Wrikes integration already with Zapier.

after a lot of digging, I recently found a Wrike API Power automate integration that someone had made a couple years ago.  I added it to Power Automate and it works great.  It is easily integrated into Flows once you have the authentication set up.  That was the hardest part for me honestly.

Here is a link to the Github with the api code

github.com/LeoTheLegion/Wrike-MS-AUTOMATE-CONNECTER

and here is a youtube video with an explanation on how to integrate it into PA

Hopefully this will help others out as it has helped me.

Thanks, Russell Sprague !

Tried to create the custom connector as in the video explained with OAuth 2.0, but I always receive an Internal Server Error, when clicking on 'Create connector'.

Any advice?

Soeren Friedrichs I remember the security settings in Power Automate giving me a lot of issues when I ffirst created the connection.  I will look back at my notes and see if anything pops out.  I know it is obvious, but make sure you have saved the API apps connection in Wrike.

Russell Sprague Thank you!

Yes, I saved the configurated connection under API apps

Russell Sprague - Were you ever able to figure out how to get the Oauth working on the GitHub API mentioned above? I understand how to get the secret and user, but I think it's the URI that is messing me up. Would you be able to share what you have in your settings in the Wrike API as well as the Token and URI links for Wrike?

Bryan Lloyd This is my Oauth setup in Power Automate

Then the above Redirect URL gets added to the Redirect URI field when you set up your app in the Wrke API apps connector page.

Hope this helps

Russell Sprague - Thank you! This is extremely helpful. What have been your favorite automations to set-up with Wrike API/Microsoft Flow. I now have it installed and am exploring the possibilities of what we want to do next.

Hi all. I'm the creator of the GitHub repo mentioned above. I find it inspiring that you all found use of it! 😊

I went ahead and created a dedicated page for it on my site: leothelegion.net/solutions/wrike-power-automate-connector/

I also added some much-needed documentation to the GitHub repo.

I hope this continues to be helpful,
Michael Mena

Michael you are a legend!

@Wrike - With all due respect, nobody knows or cares about Workato. Enterprise DEMANDS integration with Microsoft services. This is a massive oversight, especially when it's clearly possible from a technical standpoint.

Rather unimpressed to see this still not on the roadmap after 7+ years of asking....

I'm baffled Wrike isn't supported in Power Automate. Every single one of their competitors is.
