[Status: Backburner ⏳] Moving or Duplicating Custom Item Types

I think it would be helpful to be able to move and/or duplicate Custom Item Type templates. Right now, if I make a template in a space, but then realize after using it that it needs to be account wide, I have to recreate the CIT template at the account level and change the item type of anything already created at the space level to the new one. If we could move the CIT templates from space to account or space to space, this could be avoided. 

Additionally, I would like to be able to duplicate the CIT templates with all the settings/fields. I need to make a bunch of different CITs that are all very similar; workflow, visible fields, custom fields are all the same. The only difference is when filling out the custom fields. It would be much quicker to create CIT if I could duplicate the templates.

I would like to be able to fill in the custom field in the CIT template as a default setting when using the CIT, duplicate the template, change the title and custom field entry, and repeat.

Ran into this block again today! I need to create another custom item type, with all the same Automations attached to it (which will get minor adjustments so they apply correctly), but it's not possible.

Upvoted.  As roadmap items are considered, it would be valuable if there were a qualitative 'how impactful' rather than just a tally of interested parties.

doesn't sound very satisfying. This feature would really help using CIT more effectively! But also this one would be quite important: Change Custom Item Type Using Automation – Wrike Help Center

The ability to convert a custom item type from account to space has already been released, while the other way around is being planned at the moment, but there’s no ETA. We will keep you posted as and when there’s an update 👍
