Overview

Tableau is a Business Intelligence solution that lets you analyze and visualize your data. With Tableau connector, you can automatically pull data from your Wrike account to Tableau.

Configure automatic refresh of data to Tableau Online

Step 1: Obtain the OAuth Token

  1. Log in to your Wrike account.

  2. Click your profile picture in the upper right-hand corner of your workspace.

  3. Select Apps & Integrations.

  4. Switch to the API tab.

  5. Enter an app’s name (suggested name: Tableau Connector).

  6. Click Create new.

  7. (Optional) Add an app description.

  8. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Obtain token.

  9. Copy the token and save it somewhere. You’ll need to enter it in Tableau Bridge, as explained below.

Step 2: Configure automatic refresh in Tableau Bridge

  1. Install Tableau Bridge version 2019.1 or later.

  2. Configure data source to be refreshed via Tableau Bridge.

  3. When prompted for credentials:

    • Username: Enter the email address that you use to log in to Wrike.
