Configure Automatic Refresh of Wrike Data
TL;DR
Connect Wrike to Tableau by creating a permanent API access token in Wrike (Profile → Apps & Integrations → API), then configure automatic data refresh in Tableau Bridge (v2019.1+) using your Wrike email and the token as credentials.

Tableau is a Business Intelligence solution that allows you to analyze and visualize your data. With Tableau connector, you can automatically pull data from your Wrike account into Tableau.
Step 1: Obtain the OAuth Token
- Log in to your Wrike account.

Click your profile picture 1 in the sidebar.
- Select Apps & Integrations. 2

Switch to the API tab. 3
- Enter an app’s name 4 (suggested name: Tableau Connector).

Click Create new 5.

(Optional) Add an app description. 6

Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Create token 7 under the Permanent access token section.

A window will open. Enter your password and click Obtain token. 8

You will then see the token under the Permanent access token section. Click Copy token 9 and save it somewhere secure. You’ll need to enter this token in Tableau Bridge as explained below.

Step 2: Configure automatic refresh in Tableau Bridge
- Install Tableau Bridge version 2019.1 or later.
- Configure the data source to be refreshed via Tableau Bridge.

When prompted for credentials:
- Username: Enter the email address that you use to log in to Wrike.
