Wrike Notifications in Slack
You can set up notifications to receive Wrike notifications in Slack.
Note
Slack notifications are independent of email notifications. Your Slack notification settings don't affect your email notification settings.
Notifications are set up on a folder by folder (or project by project) basis and are sent to the Slack channel or direct message conversation of your choice. You can receive instant notifications when:
-
A task or subtask is created within the folder or a project.
-
A task’s or subtask’s status is updated.
-
A task’s or subtask’s due date changes.
-
New attachments (or a new version of an existing attachment) are added.
-
Comments are added to tasks in the selected folder or project. (Proofing comments don't trigger Slack notifications as well as comments added to the folder/project directly).
Note
If you enable notifications, then you'll receive notifications for all of the tasks and subtasks in that folder or project. However, you won’t get notifications about tasks in subfolders or subprojects.
Please make sure that you've enabled the integration before following the steps below.
-
Click the Slack icon that appears in the upper right-hand corner of the info panel.
-
Click Choose channel to select a channel to which you'd like to send notifications.
-
Select a channel from the list and click Allow.
-
Next, you can select which notifications you don't want to receive. Uncheck the boxes and click Apply.
Note
Your Slack admin may have restricted the option for individuals to install apps. If you get an "Only team owners can install it" error message, please contact your Slack account admin.
Tip
From here you can either enable the notifications again by clicking Enable or change the Slack channel where notifications are sent. To do that, click Change channel and select a new channel from the list.
