Chat With an AI Agent

TL;DR

Chat privately with Wrike's AI agent to understand its decisions on your tasks and projects. Open a task's comment stream, click the AI agent icon or type @ + agent name, then ask follow-up questions like why it flagged a task or classified an issue. Note: the agent only explains past actions - it can't perform new ones.

Overview

Chatting with an AI agent in Wrike lets you ask follow-up questions about actions it takes on your projects and tasks. Use this feature to get insights into the agent's decisions and reasoning - all in a private conversation.

How to Start a Conversation

1. Navigate to the project or task's comment stream where the agent took action.
2. In the comment box, click the AI agent icon in the toolbar to see available agents, or type @ followed by the agent's name. The AI agent icon filters the picker to show only agents (not regular users).
3. A private chat panel opens on the right side of your screen.
4. Type your question and press Enter to chat with the agent.

What Can I Ask the AI Agent?

Use the chat to understand why the agent made certain decisions:

• Why it took an action: "Why did you flag this task as at risk?"
• What information it used: "What made you classify this as a bug?"
• How it reached its conclusion: "Why did you think this was blocked?"

Tip: Ask clear, direct questions to get the best answers. You can copy the answer to your clipboard and like or dislike the response.

How to Close the Chat

Click the X button at the top right of the chat to close it. To open a new conversation, simply @mention the AI agent again.

Note: The agent can only explain actions it has already taken. It can't perform new actions or analysis through chat.
