Wrike and Slack Integration

TL;DR

Wrike’s Slack integration is available to all users on all account types, including Free. It lets you get Wrike notifications in Slack, create Wrike tasks from Slack, and automatically preview Wrike task, folder, and project links shared in channels or threads. Note that previews are visible to everyone in the conversation, even if they don’t have access in Wrike. To enable it, go to Profile picture → Apps & Integrations → Wrike App for Slack → Enable, then authorize Slack. Once one person enables it, link previews become available for the Slack workspace, but each user must enable it individually to get notifications and create tasks.

How to Enable the Integration

  1. Click your profile picture in the sidebar.
  2. Select Apps & Integrations.
  3. Select Wrike App for Slack from the list of apps. You can use search to find it.
  4. Click Enable.

After you've completed the process, you'll see Wrike Bot added to your Slack workspace.

Note

Once one person enables the integration for themselves, Wrike’s Slack integration becomes partially enabled for all users who are part of that Slack account. This means that all users in the account (or specific channels) will see tasks, folders, and projects details in Slack right away. However, each user needs to enable the integration for it to become fully enabled for them (to receive notifications and create tasks).

To disable the integration follow Steps 1–4 above and click Disable 1.
