Item View
TL;DR
Item view opens as an overlay when you click a task from any view (Table, Gantt, etc.). Use it to manage task details - rename, set status, assign people, edit dates, add files, comments, dependencies, and more. The three-dot menu offers extra options like full-screen, starring, recurring tasks, sharing, printing, and deleting.

Use Item view to see task details. When you click a task from any view, the Item view opens as an overlay.

You can do the following from Item view:
- Rename a task 1.
- Tag a task in additional locations 2.
- Change the Status of a task 3.
- Add, remove or view Assignees 4.
- Change or edit scheduled Dates 5.
- Change a task’s Importance 6.
- View the Author name 7.
- View Created date 8.
- View Task ID 9.
- Access a task’s Permalink 10.
- Attach files directly to task 11.
- Create Approvals 12.
- Create Dependencies 13.
- Add information to the task’s description field 14.
- Add a comment directly to the task 15.
By using the three-dot menu in the top-right corner of the item view, you can:
- Expand the item view to full screen or open it in new tab 1.
- Star a task 2.
- Add a task to My to-do folder 3.
- Add a task to the Calendar 4.
- Duplicate and save a task as a blueprint 5.
- Make a task recurrent 6.
- Share and edit with whom the folder is shared with 7.
- Follow and edit who follows the respective task 8.
- Print the item view and update through email 9.
- Delete the task 10.
- Change the task’s item type 11.
- Convert a task to Milestone 12.
