Removing the Wrike for Office Documents Add-In

TL;DR

You can remove the Office Documents add-in from Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint through the My Add-ins menu. On Windows, removing it from one Office application automatically removes it from all other supported desktop Office applications.

Overview

Wrike for Office Documents (Wrike's Office add-in) allows you to create a file in Microsoft Word, Excel, or PowerPoint and directly attach your file to a Wrike task. You can also use the add-in to create tasks, edit which folders a task is in, change a task's status, download files attached to tasks, or set start and due dates.

How to Remove the Add-In

  1. Launch one of the compatible Microsoft programs.
  2. Click the Home tab on the ribbon at the top of the screen.
  3. Click Add-ins 1.
  4. Select My Add-ins 2 from the drop-down menu.
  5. In the menu that opens, hover over the Wrike add-in.
  6. Click the three-dot menu button in the app's upper right-hand corner.
  7. Select Remove from the drop-down list 3.
  8. Click Remove to confirm your decision.

Note

If you're using Windows, then removing the add-in from one application automatically removes it from all other compatible desktop applications as well.
