Analyzing Trends in Your Data
TL;DR
In Wrike Analyze, you can add a linear or logarithmic trend line to supported charts to spot patterns in your data. Hover over a widget, click Analyze it, turn on Show trend, choose your trend settings, and close the pop-up to apply the changes.

In Wrike Analyze you can add trend lines over a widget to highlight tendencies in your data.
Note
Wrike Analyze supports trend lines on all column, line, area, and bar charts. Only time series with a single date dimension are supported.
There are two trend line options available:
- A linear trend line is a straight line that usually shows when values are increasing or decreasing at a steady rate.
- A logarithmic trend line is a best-fit curved line that’s used when the rate of change in the data increases or decreases quickly and then levels out.
Users with any access roles can add trend lines to widgets.
To add a trend line:
- Hover over a selected widget.
- Click the Analyze it button 1.
- Hover over Trend and enable the toggle next to Show trend 2.
- Next, click on the Trend settings button 3 opens a pop-up, you can:
- Select the trend type (linear or logarithmic) 4.
- Select to compare data with the previous year, quarter, or month 5.
- Click Close 6 to apply the changes.
