Changing Folder Color

TL;DR

Learn how to change a folder's color to make it easier to identify in the workspace. The selected color updates the folder icon in the sidebar and folder tags in Item view for everyone who has access to that folder.

Overview

All users, except for Collaborators, Contributors, and Viewers, can edit folders.

All folders in Wrike can be color-coded. This adds a background color to folder tags in Item view, and colors the folder icon in the sidebar.

How to Change a Folder's Color

  1. Navigate to the space containing the relevant folder.
  2. Right-click a Folder 1 in the sidebar or you can also click the three-dot menu.
  3. Hover over Change Color 2 in the drop-down list.
  4. Select one of the color options from the menu that appears 3.

The color you pick is immediately applied to the folder in your workspace, as well as in the workspaces of users who have access to that folder.
