Following Projects
TL;DR
You can follow a project to get notifications about changes to its tasks and sub-items. Open the project, use the three-dot menu to Follow it, or choose Edit followers to add or remove followers.

All users can follow projects, regular users can add any other user as a follower, and external users can make someone a follower if that item is already shared with that person.
Follow a project (or add another user as a follower) to receive notifications related to changes to tasks in that project. You can choose which changes to be notified about in Email preferences in your settings.
When you add or remove someone as a follower of a project, they receive an email notification telling them that they were added or removed as a follower.
Clicking on the following icon of a project will show which users are following it.
- Navigate to the relevant space.
- Select a project from the space’s side bar.
- Click the info icon 1 next to the project title, Its project item view will open on the right.
- Click on the three-dot button 2 in the top right corner.
- From the drop-down menu, click on the Follow option 3 to follow the current project and its sub-items.
- To add another user to follow the project,
- Click on the Edit followers… 4 option.
- From the menu bar opened, click on the + Add Follower button 5 and start typing the name of the person or select the users from the list that appears 6. They'll start following all sub-items in the project.
Note
Click the + button 7 if the project already has followers.
- Select a project from the workspace’s sidebar.
- Click on the project info icon next to the project title to open the project item view.
- Click the three-dot button in the top right corner and select Edit Followers… option.
- Hover over a profile image click the x 8 that appears to unfollow yourself or another user.
