Editing and Deleting Job Roles
TL;DR
Account owners and admins can edit job role details, such as the name, avatar, initials, and default hourly rates, or permanently delete job roles. Deleting a job role removes it from all users and tasks and cannot be undone.

Account owners and admins can manage job roles.
You can edit job role settings or delete any job role at any time within your account.
- Click on your profile image in the sidebar 1.

Select Settings 2 from the drop-down menu.
- Click Job Roles 3 under Account management in the left panel.
- Select a job role 4 from the list.

In the pop-up window that appears, you can:
- Edit a job role’s name, initials, avatar color, and default hourly rates.
- Click Save 5 to finalize editing the job role.
- If you decide to delete the role, click the Delete button 6. Confirm your decision, and the role will be removed from your account.
Alternatively, if you want to delete a job role, hover over the role, click the three-dot menu button 1 or right-click it in the list, select Delete 2, and confirm your decision.
When you delete a job role, it disappears from all tasks and from the information of all users to whom it was assigned.
Note
Deleted job roles can't be restored.
