Creating Gantt Chart Snapshots

Table 49. Availability - Legacy plans

Overview

All users (except collaborators) can create Gantt chart snapshots.

There are two possible options to create Gantt chart snapshots:

  • From the current state – the snapshot will show the current state of the folder, project, or space.

  • From project history – the created snapshot will show the folder, project, or space state on the chosen date.

Note

The number of snapshots you create for each folder, project, or space is unlimited.

Create a current state snapshot

  1. Navigate to the selected folder, project, or space and switch to Gantt Chart 1.

  2. Click Public snapshots 2 on the toolbar.

  3. Select From current state 3 from the drop-down menu.

  4. Enter a name 4 for the snapshot.

  5. Check (or uncheck) the boxes for the following options 5 as needed:

    1. Share with public link

    2. Show assignees names

  6. You can also copy the permalink of the snapshot 6 by right-clicking on the highlighted text and selecting Copy.
