Creating Gantt Chart Snapshots
TL;DR:
You can create unlimited Gantt chart snapshots (except as a collaborator, contributor, or viewer) from either the current state or a specific date in project history. In both Classic and New Gantt Chart views, open the work item, choose the snapshot type, name it, optionally enable a public link and assignee names, then click Create.
