Duplicating Custom Workflows

Account admins can duplicate account-wide custom workflows. On Enterprise and Pinnacle accounts, this is a controlled admin permission, so some admins may not have it. Space workflows can be duplicated by space admins.
After duplicating a workflow it can be edited to meet your team's needs.
When you duplicate a workflow, its copy has the same statuses, automatic assignees, and status transition settings as the original one. The duplicated workflow will appear in the workflows list in the Account Management section.

Click your profile image 1 in the sidebar.

Select Settings 2 from the dropdown menu.

Click Workflows 3 in the left-hand navigation panel. You’ll see a list of all workflows created at both the space and account levels in a Table view.

Select the title of the workflow you'd like to duplicate. If you don’t see it, press Ctrl + F (or Cmd + F, if you're on a Mac) and search for it in the list.

You can duplicate a workflow in two ways:

From the table view, click the three-dot menu 4 next to workflow title and select Duplicate 5 from the drop-down menu.

Click the workflow title to open its editing window. Then, click the three-dot menu 6 in the upper-right corner and select Duplicate workflow 7.

A duplicate of the workflow opens in a new tab, and you can start editing right away.

Click Save 8 in the upper right-hand corner once you make all necessary changes. Even if you don't edit your duplicated workflow, you must click Save or it won't be created.
Space admins can duplicate space workflows. The duplicated workflow will appear in the list of space workflows.

Navigate to the relevant space 1 in which the workflow you want to duplicate is located.

Click the gear icon 2 next to the space overview in the sidebar.
OR
Click the gear icon 2 below the space title in the current view.

Switch to the Workflows tab 3. You'll see a Table view listing all workflows created within the space.

Hover over the workflow you want to duplicate and click the three-dot menu 4 and select Duplicate 5 from the drop-down menu.
OR
Click the workflow title to open its editing window. Then, click the three-dot menu 6 in the upper-right corner and select Duplicate workflow 7.

The copy of the workflow is created and opened automatically in the same window for you to edit.

Click Save 8 to finish creating the copy of this workflow.
