Overview

Wrike helps you collaborate seamlessly by keeping track of your file versions. This ensures that your team always works with the most up-to-date files and can easily access previous versions when needed.

To add a new file version:

  1. Open the task, folder, or project where you'd like to attach a new version of a file. Right-click the attachment (located under the description field).

  2. Select Upload new version 1 and choose the file you'd like to upload.

  3. Wrike automatically renames the file you're uploading to match the existing file name.

  4. The file is uploaded, and Wrike starts tracking which file version you're working on.

Note

You can add any file type as a new version of the original file.

You can also choose the file itself to add a new version:

  1. Open the task, folder, or project where you'd like to attach a new file version.

  2. Check the box next to the left of the file name 2.

  3. Click Add version icon 3 above the list of attachments and choose the file you'd like to upload.
