HI everyone!!
1.ย I am located in Columbus Ohio - Random Fact - no matter where you are in the world - if you yell out "O-H" you are highly likely to get ANY Ohioan to reply "I-O"!! - it's just a thing we Buckeyes do!
2.ย Toss up between Harry Potter and any of the Hobbit books!ย Love the fantasy and characters of these books, it's an amazing and rich adventure.ย But I'd like to add a side one - Pride and Prejudice - beautiful and timeless storyย ๐
3.ย Since 2016-2017 - testing and trying it out - before Launching to our Company in 2018
Hello,ย
1. I am located in Edmonton, Alberta Canada. - It has a big baseball bat that was the largest in the world until 2014. So fun. It actually swings.
2. I am not an advid reader, but I have read the entire Harry Potter Series, and the Percy Jackson Series. So I guess any one of those.ย
3.) I have been using Wrike since 2014.ย ย
Hi all,
1. ๐ I'm in Chicago. Fun Fact: No two Chicagoans can agree on the best Chicago pizza, but all Chicagoans agree that Chicago has the best pizza.
2. ๐ My favorite book is Ray Bradbury's From the Dust Returned - I love the characters, and it's a great fall read.
3. ๐ค I've been using Wrike since 2016.
Hey wrike community!ย
1. Birmingham, England. Fun fact which will apparently interest a lot of you: JRR Tolkien wrote and based the scenery of Lord Of The Rings and The Hobbit in and on Birmingham. For example the two towers are based on Perrottโs Folly and Edgbaston Waterworks. Here's a link for more: https://secretbirmingham.com/tolkien-tour/. He had such an imagination ahah!
2. I too am a fantasy nut - apparently Wrike attracts a type - (currently working my way through Discworld which I'm loving but) my favourite book is The Wise Man's Fear the second book in The Kingkiller Chronicles trilogy (we're still waiting on book 3ย ๐). The series is amazing, mysterious and full of rich lore (you learn about most of the world's histories in the form of stories told around campfires and in taverns). The series does fall into some fantasy tropes but I like that sometimes, the second book focusing more on travel and the cultures of the world rather than the development of main character (which is the main focus of the first in my opinion). I really recommend reading them but you're probably in for a long wait before book 3 is released... It's been 10 years already.
3. Since 2017 (trials and small scale roll out) and then 2019 was integration with the larger company account (I think).
ย
On a side note
Carolanne Makย I've just ordered From the Dust Returned (what do you mean by a great fall read?)
and Elizabeth Bayerย I've bought The Left Hand of Darkness
for my own education.
George Fiveashย The story revolves around a family that's reminiscent of the Addams Family, so it's got some spooky/Halloween/autumn atmosphere. (PS, I really enjoyed The Name of the Wind, but I haven't rushed to start WMF, because I know we don't have an end yet...)
Elizabeth Bayerย I also have The Left Hand of Darkness, but haven't read it yet - I should really make that a priority. I remember liking Gifts though.
1. Cambridge, MA- some delicious seafood in the northeast
2. Also a fan of harry potter, and Discworld. Anyone read Good Omens? (Pratchett and Neil Gaiman) Great dark comedy.
3. Just started in 2020!
1. From Goettingen in northern Germany. The Gaenselisel here is the most kissed girl in the world.
2. In Zeiten der Grippe (in the time of flu in English) - a project management detective story
3. started one year ago
1. Okanagan in BC, Canada.ย We have a Kangaroo Farm nearby that is a lot of fun to visit.
2. Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Bronte.
3. Started February 2021.
Carolanne Makย Aaaaccccceptable, although you definitely should start WMF (it will come... someday) and The Slow Regard of Silent Things is also very good but a very weird book - to my memory there is no dialogue in it at all.
Ahh yes... fall - autumn over the pond!
Alexandra Elataย I have read Good Omens, it was brilliant. I think of it whenever I'm driving around the M25 ahah.
Hi, I'm located in Oxford, UK where some of the Harry Potter films were filmed. My favourite book is Alamut by Vladimir Bartol because it's written by a Slovenian author with lots of plot twists and I have been using Wrike for 7 months.
Hello from sunny Staffordshire, UK! I'm based near Uttoxeter, a tiny town that's home to the worldwide company JCB.ย
Like lots of others I have a few favourite books, but I very much enjoy the 'His Dark Materials' trilogy by Philip Pullman.ย
I've been using Wrike for about 16 months now and have become the go-to person in our company for it, for my sins!
Hello Community!
1. I'm from the West side of Michigan. We are known for the shoreline along Lake Michigan resembles an ocean shore more than it does the shores of most lakes. The prevailing winds from the west have transformed Michigan's west coast intoย hundreds of miles of sandy beaches and dunes! Fun to visit!
2. I love Danielle Steel (Prodigal Son - my fave!) and John Grisham (A time to kill - my fave!) books.
3.) Using Wrike since 2016. And I've been to I've been to Chicago and Nashville conferences and last year's virtual conference. Can't wait for this year's!
The inhabitants of Tours (Les Tourangeaux) are renowned for speaking the โpurestโ form of French in the whole country. It is said that the French spoken here has the most standard pronunciation โ In fact there is no real accent :)
Because British Humour, satire et absurdity make me smile :)ย
Since end of 2019.
I'm from Keene, NH. Fun fact: Robin Williams' film, Jumanji, was filmed here.
Favorite book... hard to say... there are so many I really like... I think my favorite is still to be discovered. I'd say right now the top of the list is 11.22.63 by Stephen King. If you haven't read it, I highly suggest it. Don't bother watching the mini series though.
I have been using Wrike since the beginning of 2015. I'm it's biggest cheerleader in my company.
Hi there!ย I'm in Ponte Vedra Beach, FL (just outside of Jacksonville, FL - hi, Pamela Martin!).ย The male flag bearer for the USA at the Olympics this year was a player for the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp (our minor league baseball team).ย Fun!
Hard to pick a favorite book, but maybe The Old Man and the Sea (Hemingway) or Island of the Blue Dolphins (O'Dell) - read them both as a kid, and have re-read them several times.ย Generally speaking, I'm not one to read a book more than once, so that's got to be a testament to how much I enjoyed those two.
Been using Wrike since 2016, I think.ย Time flies!
1.) I live in San Diego, CA where the most avocados in the US are grown.
2.) I am constantly reading, all types of genres and struggle with one favorite. Over the last few years, I've read The Alice Network several times. It's historical fiction that weaves a fictional story post-WWII into the history of female spy networks in WWI.ย
3.) I began using Wrike in March 2020
So nice to meet everyone! I am located in sunny Los Angeles California. Not everyone knows this, but LA is home to the world famous La Brea tar pits. In 2006, a new tar pit was discovered. It contained the remains of saber-toothed cats, giant sloths, American lions, and a mammoth that was later named Zed.
My favorite recent read was The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennett, a tale of twin sisters that separate and go on to lead very different lives.
I've been using wrike for about two years!
Hello everyone! I am located in Loveland, CO. Loveland's nicknames are "Sweetheart City" and "Gateway to the Rockies." The best part is we average 300 days of sunshine per year.
My favorite reads/books are ones on botany.ย
I have been using Wrike for two years.
Hello!
ย
Fun fact: Portland, Maine is the namesake for Portland, Oregon (bonus fact: this is the result of a coin toss โ the other option was Boston). However, when I tell someone I'm from Portland, they always think Oregon first.
