Project Status Report
Saw that this request was raised in 2016, and still no progress.. This is a critical part towards delivering a project to a customer.
We are in need of a project status report function. Monthly/Quarterly report with the relevant topics listed below. The report should be able to generate in every project.
- Summary: A brief overview of the current status of the project, including progress, issues, and any milestones achieved.
- Goals and Objectives: An update on how well the project is progressing in relation to the established goals and timelines.
- Activities and Progress: A detailed list of the activities completed since the last report and those still ongoing.
- Budget and Resources: An overview of how the project budget has been utilized and any changes in resource allocation.
- Risk Management: An assessment of any risks that may impact the project's progress and plans to mitigate them.
- Communication and Collaboration: Information on how communication has been functioning within the team and with external stakeholders.
- Plan for the Next Period: A forecast of upcoming activities, goals, and any changes in the project's direction.
- Additional Information: Any other points of significance for the project or stakeholders.

We will also introduce templates soon in New Dashboards, so you can define your project status report and apply it to different projects.

Ok, but not possible if missing the Analyze license.
Could you tell me some more about the New Dashboard Templates, do you have any product images or possible to test it in labs? When in time are you planning for a release?

Davide, I'm sorry but I have nothing to share externally at this point. The release is planned for Q3, and I will let you know if we'll have a Labs program for it.
Can we revive this request? I don't think what is being suggested through Analyze is the right solution. I saw something in Smartsheets the other day that one of our service providers was using it was similar to the mock up that Davide provided. A simple 1 page summary that can go in an email or a slide deck with executive level project updates would be ideal.
OMG this would solve my problem big time! also can we include information on Gantt chart view that will include interdependencies across several projects within the portfolio! (not dependency within the project)

However - Is it possible to create 1 analytics dashboard that has a drop down to pick the project from? Or do I have to create a dashboard for every single project? That'd be 100+ dashboard for me!

I believe you're missing how companies around the world operate, especially within the financial sector or in businesses that require reporting. What you're suggesting with dashboards is not sufficient—it doesn't meet the needs of C-level positions, for example, or others who want flexible updates without having to click into a dashboard. It could also involve external clients who should be able to follow their portfolio or projects if they've purchased them.
There are several aspects that could enable a better workflow without the need to purchase additional software if you were to implement this feature. It's about being able to build a dashboard or report flexibly, which can then be scheduled to be sent to any email addresses desired. That would make things much easier.
Davide Bellman did you ever find a solution for your status report question? I am looking for something similar.
