How do I turn a free account into a student account?
Hi, I've used wrike in the past for school projects and this is my first time creating my own team, I realized I didn't have access to all the features as I did on previous teams. I was wondering how do I turn my free team into a student team?

We have reworked our student program some time ago and Student accounts now are accounts with the Free subscription.

Hi Lisa, so there are technically no Student Accounts anymore? And the current FREE accounts are limited to 200 total active tasks (and subtasks). Just confirming.
I am enabling a class of students to be acquainted with Project management, and getting them started with Wrike as the main experience. The other option is Notion which is free on the student plan. I would have preferred the Wrike environment personally, however, I find the pricing too steep for K-12 student (Grade 11 specifically). They are being taught Digital Marketing and simulating the journey and use case of a small company. Is there any option Wrike would have for my class?

You're right that we don't currently have student accounts and our Free account has limitations. Do you think that 200 active tasks won't work for you? You could complete the ones you aren't working on but they will still be available to you. I'd also suggest checking our newer Team plan, and you can check the feature set and pricing here. We have reworked the Students Program, and the Student account is equivalent to Wrike Free now. You may want to continue using Wrike in the Free version. Or if you would like to discuss purchasing a paid subscription for your class/school, please feel free to let us know. Thank you!
