Important Update: Transition from List View to Table View 🔍

Bekah Coenen - That is one of my primary concerns, too. Since we were transitioned to table view, working outside of dashboards has been miserable. If Wrike removes list view from dashboards without fixing the cluttered table view for dashboards, it will be ridiculously slow and tedious just to see the information we need (especially the locations, like you mentioned).

Some notes on ways to improve the items your continuing to improve/roll out in labs! 
1. Increase Dashboard Parameter Functionality for Single Select, & adding Text and Date field types: The ability to utilize multiple single select values, the ability to use Text Fields, and date fields would be really helpful.
Use Cases:
-Team could report on all items with a certain value in a text custom field
-Finance team could use a dashboard for all billing items Completed on certain day.... 

2. Mass Actions for Views: It would be incredibly helpful to be able to add views as a max action, since there is no option to add views via the API. Essentially, we want to add a view to all of our Billing Tasks, which are nested items in a structure so there's no efficient way to do it. To all top-level subitems is nice, but doesn't really help our use case. 

I was using the table view today. I created two new tasks and then clicked on one, worked on it, and marked it complete. When I was done and closed out the task pane, the task still showed as in progress in the table view, requiring a refresh of the page to update. Is this the intended behavior? Is there a faster way to get fresh data (like on the report view you can re-run it without the browser needing to reload all the wrike code just to get accurate information)?

Danielle Wilson thanks for the hint only resizing to icons only works on table view not on my-todo Lisa could you aks the product team if it can be made that the importance is an icon in my-todo? Preferable how the my-todo looks by default is controlled by account level so users don't miss information like the importance

Hi - I had been waiting for you to add the "detach" menu item on the table view for subitems, but as of today it appears you went in the opposite direction and just removed the idea of "subitems" from the table view - now everything is just displayed flat, there are no longer sub items, and when I try to drag an item into a sub item, I can't. This was how I organized long lists of tasks on my to do list. What is the alternative to allow organization of tasks on the do list, beyond by date? And when will you stop taking features away from us that we were using?

If the Importance is set for a task, it should be visible for everyone.

Hi Lisa yes that's great - thanks for adding that. Any update on adding the "detach" to the menu on the to-do list (right now it's only available in the detail of the task).

Lisa Thank you for adding these symbols, it was more noticeable when the symbols were still in color. Also there is a small bug if you add the field 'importance' a a column the symbols dissepear, if you then refresh the page the symbols are apear. Both tested that in Wrike for desktop en Chrome browser.

Why not just develop the List view on the new technologies you have? Understand migrating for performance, but I don't understand removing features that enable faster work (table view is not it). Seems like there are plenty of users with similar thoughts.

TABLE VIEW IS THE ABSOLUTE WORST! A total time killer and makes everything harder than it has to be! Bring back LIST VIEW! We will probably start looking for some other options besides wrike.

I lived by the list view, as did many in my department. The table view is a lot less user friendly, in my opinion. :(

DO NOT RETIRE LIST VIEW!
