[Status: Launched ๐Ÿš€] Review/approval process outside of Wrike

When our higher-ups need to approve docs, they get an email and then have to go into the Wrike Workspace to review the doc. What we would like is for them to be able to review and approve from within the email or some type of overlay (so that they don't have to go into the Workspace).

Hi Liz, thank you for taking the time to share your feedback here! While this isn't on our current roadmap, it's a request we've heard before and it'sย great to have it on the Community as we continue to internally discuss potential enhancements to the Approval functionality. Once again, thanks for posting it here, I'll make sure to direct users who support this request to your post,ย so they could vote for this suggestion. :)

Hi Liz, it was great meeting you in Seattle :) I know this is important to your team, so I wanted to let you know that we did talk about this with one of our product managers to get their thoughts. They thought it was a really interesting idea. Like Anastasia said, it's not on our short-term roadmap, but I thought you'd like to know that they do think it's an interesting possibility.ย

100% need a feature that doesn't require login, account creation, etc.. and a user can just get an email to comment or approve a task. ย Convenience will always win and we are ok with the email receiver not having to log into to make these approvals. ย if login/account is required, the likelihood of us successfully implementing this drastically is reduced as clientย just don't want to go through the hassle. ย

This would be incredibly helpful in our environment as well - oftentimes there are a lot of people that need to be able to see something and provide a single piece of feedback, but don't really need to be in the wrike atmosphere for any other aspect of the project.ย  Hightail does a great job of this I think - when a link is sent it looks like this:

The top right has a very simple dialogue box that asks people to enter their name and email address, and then they are given the ability to comment as a regular user.ย  They are also able to "subscribe" to any new comments or replies after they enter their email.ย  it makes it very easy to share with lots of people.ย

I think this would also help get people on board with using more features in wrike - the biggest complaints I get are when I don't have a chance to show a new user how wrike works in person - they tell me it feels overwhelming or they get lost.ย ย

Hi all, thanks for your continued use cases and votes for this suggestion. It's not currently on our Product Team's roadmap but the teamย isย aware of this post and I will update you here if thereย areย any changes to this.
ย
@Kyle, thanks for your input here,ย it's very valuable to understanding the onboarding process for different teams. I'd be interested to hear any steps you may already take to overcome these obstacles.ย
ย
You might be already aware we have a quick introduction toย Getting Startedย on Wrike which many new team members find useful, especiallyย Step 3ย which is all about visibility within Wrike. Once they've reviewed those articles, ourย Knowledge Baseย can take them through everything they need to know starting withย The Basics, through to more advanced integrations and processes.
ย
Again, thanks for your feedback here, and if you have any question about the above, I'm more than happy to helpย ๐Ÿ™‚

This would be great for us. We would use it to have customers review and approval plans, material selections, contracts, letters via email. Have it then post to that task comment and show up in inbox.
