[Status: Backburner ⌛️] Ability to amend working hours per day
Wrike currently defaults to an 8 hour working day.
I would like to be able to change this as I have some team members who are only utilised 50% of the time.
It looks like you're trying to figure something out.

We use Wrike for development (agile method).
Each developer estimate how much "actual" development each task will take
After daily scrums and breaks we know that the developers only have about 6 hours to actually do development. That means 30 hours a week 10 less that the standard 40. Therefore, this gives me a completely inaccurate delivery date.
Hi Sonia Sosa, thank you for this use case. It's been passed on to the Product team.
Hey everyone, some good news!
You can now customise how many hours in a day your team has in the Workload Chart through a feature in Labs. You can read more about the capabilities of this feature in this Help Centre article.
Be sure to check it out and let us know what you think.
@... To be more transparent, that improvement is only available for accounts with Wrike Professional Services or the Wrike Resource add-on. For the rest of us, the Gantt Chart quickly becomes obsolete if we want to do any hourly planning...
Our company is resorting back to more and more MS Project licences, which is really taking away the focus from Wrike for us. We need to be able to plan with at least a 12-hour work day in the Gantt Chart. Ideally a 24hr day so that we can manage shift work.
For our project management we need to plan tasks by the hour, not allocate how many hours each user has "available" per day (although I can see the benefit of that in other scenarios).
Is there any recent news on this? Will it progress before the new UX is launched? Or is all the development focus on the new UX right now? Thanks!
Thanks for this feature - it's a major game changer for us!
@... Super helpful comment from Soraya Jung! I'm frustrated by reading about helpful features in Wrike only to later discover we can only get those if we "upgrade" aka, spend more money.
I have a week of half-days planned, but I can't alter my schedule for that week to remind team members I will be unavailable each afternoon. Roadblocks like this discourage the use of Wrike on our team and make my job as Wrike cheerleader more difficult.
Hi Vicki Frame,
Thank you for sharing your input here. This use case has been shared with the Product team. If there are any changes, I'll be sure to let you know.
Still waiting for this 'feature' actually. Maybe available in Labs, but this is really BASIC and should be available for every account. (First report in 2017?)
Hi iwan kimpe, welcome to the Community!
We'll let you know once we have an update from the Product team on this, and we continue to pass on your feedback and the vote count for this suggestion.

Our organization works on a 7 hour/day schedule, with some staff working 6 hours and some working 5.5 hours/day. I would like to be able to specify the number of working hours for each user. I can't believe this feature isn't available yet, especially for what we are paying in license fees.
Thank you for letting us know your feedback, Johanna Pfalz!
