Reporting - Shows projects completed last month
It would be really great to have a reporting feature for projects like there is for tasks. When you create a report for tasks you can filter by "completed date." However this is not available for projects.
It would be great to be able to create a report that shows all project completed within the last month (week, year, etc). This is one of the elements I have to pull from regularly and the work arounds create a ton of extra work.
Hi Aimee Reistad, thanks for sharing your feedback on the Reports. I've passed it on to our Product team 🙌🏼
This request would be beneficial for our organization as well.

Please implement something that will allow projects to be sorted by last modified! This is a basic reporting function that is missing from Wrike — I can't believe it's not possible! I can't easily pull a list of completed projects from a specified date range?! Please make this happen soon! It's taking me 1/2 a day to pull reports... 😫
Thank you for supporting this suggestion too and I'm sorry this isn't currently very convenient for you! This feedback is passed on to the Product team.

This is definitely a must-have! Task completion is great, but an ability to see projects completed by a selected date range would provide the kind of high-level transparency the C-Suite wants. Any progress on this capability?

Did this get implemented? I have the same reporting need.
Hi Nikki Howell, welcome to the Community, and thank you for checking in here. There are no updates in relation to this request for the moment, we'll be sure to let you know if there are any in the future👍🏼
This would be a great addition! PLEASE add soon.
Hi Leslie Jones, thank you for adding your support here! Please be sure to upvote the original post if you haven't yet🙌🏼
Agree! This is definitely something our organization needs as well. It is a feature that seems inconsistent that you can have this data for tasks but not projects. And we need as much automation as possible as "workarounds" only add more work and then we are working "harder" but not "smarter."
Hello again! I have found a work around for now that I wanted to share for any one who may need it. I created a report for Tasks and entered my "Completed Date" as "this month." Once the report is populated, add "Group by," "Project or Folder." My team has a "Completed Projects" folder that we move all completed projects to, so this also helps with pulling accurate Project completion data as completed Projects do not co-mingle in a folder with active Projects.
Hope this helps someone out!
The work around I ended up implementing was create two custom fields, as I wanted to capture more than the "completed" but also, when do the projects actually begin vs, when the initial requested start date was.
So I have two custom fields that get entered at the beginning of the project and end of the project.
1. Start Date (actual)
2. Completed Date (finish)
To triple check my work I added another custom field that is a check box that says "project is done", and haven an automation build in to the workflow that says, anytime a project is marked competled it goes into a folder for me to review, and I can confirm that the start date and completed date were indeed filled out.
I can pull reports from any of those custom fields, various reports I've created so far:
1. Completed (this is accurate now, I can do it by month, per year, per department)
2. Comparison Report that shows duration of start date/finish date vs actual start date/complete date - so we can see how long the "goal" was for the project to take, vs. how long it actually took. It's great to be able to display to leadership that they requested something get done in 30-days and instead it took 6-months (for example).
I'd like to throw my support behind this feature as well. I would love to be able to create reports based on the actual completed date of a project versus the planned end date. In reality those don't often equal each other.
Hi Jimmy Moore, thank you for adding your support here👍🏼
I am looking to provide a weekly Completed Projects list. Has that functionality been added yet. I see it is being asked for since.....the ice age?
Hi Kim Consonni, have you checked out the approach used by Aimee Reistad above, would this work for you?
As this suggestion's votes are on the lower side, the team have not prioritized work on this and we have yet to add a status. We do appreciate the feedback, however, and I've passed this on to the team. You can find out more about how we work with Product feedback in this Community post.
If you need help with anything else, or if you have any other questions please don't hesitate to ask.

building off of Aimee Reistad solution, I would like to add automation, in line with.. When Status changes update custom field "Closed Date" to today's date.
I don't see this as possible, am I overlooking this?
Hi Ped Watt, thank you for sharing this question with us. I'm afraid that currently, it's not possible to automatically update the date of a task using an automation rule. However, you can create a rule to mention the assignees and let them know they need to update the due date accordingly.
Please, let us know if you have any additional questions.
@... thank you for the feedback, however disappointing it is. The goal of using Wrike (or other PM Software) is to reduce the touch points for the team, using the software to do the mundane work, allowing the team to focus on the core parts of their roles.
Is there a way to run a report (maybe at the Pinnacle level) that would show when a project was changed to a certain status?
Thank you for your reply, Ped Watt. Wrike Analyze might be of help in your case. If you're interested in this feature, please, let me know and I'll forward your case to our dedicated team.
Also, you could try Workflow Reports to see if this feature can meet your needs. Looking forward to your reply!
@... I tried Workflow reports and it doesn't give the data I need to report out. Have reached out to our Wrike Product Specialist to get pricing for Analyze and see if can trial it or get a demo. Thank you for your feedback
