Feature Updates
- Print Option Now Available in List View if You're Using the New Toolbar ๐จ
It's always been possible to print out a List view, but recently, if you enabled the new toolbar from Wrike Labs, this option disappeared ๐ป
ย
Never fear - we've brought it back for everyone. Just click the three-dot menu in your toolbar and select Print.
ย
- New Way To Identify Item Type in Work Item View ๐
Before now, in work item view, we displayed the icon and name of an item type above the name of the item itself. This had the potential for getting item types confused with parent items, so we've changed it up.
ย
Now the corresponding icon of the item type is shown to the left of your item's name, the name of the item type is only shown with a hover over this icon.
ย
- AI Subitem Names Trimmed and Automatically Capitalized โ๏ธ
AI subitem creation relies on reading dates and user names in highlighted text in order to automatically add dates and assignees to subtasks, now, it also removes this superfluous information from the subitem name, and if necessary, capitalizes it.
ย
For example, if you highlight the text John Smith, create a cool product presentation, January 9, the subitem will be assigned to John Smith with an end date of January 9th, but the subitem's name will be simply Create a cool product presentation.
ย
AI still isn't quite as good as a human with a dictionary ๐ค, so the process isn't always perfect. Depending on the wording of your subtask some of the trimming might not work. But if you don't use special characters or a non-standard format for writing tasks, it should be just fine.
ย
- Change the Order of Pinned Items in the New Sidebar ๐
If you have the new sidebar enabled from Wrike Labs, you can now rearrange the order of the items in the Pinned section at the top of it. Just drag and drop them into the order of your choosing.
ย
- Limited Access Users Now Marked in Task Activity Stream ๐โโ๏ธ
When mentioned in the activity stream of a task, limited access users are now marked by an icon. Hovering over the icon will display text stating if they are a Collaborator, External user, or Guest reviewer (these names may be different for accounts with custom user types).
ย
This kind of marker was already on display in the global stream (for all item types), project and folder activity streams, and in the @mention picker.
- Project Filters now Apply to Folders in New Table View ๐
Before this update, if you were in New Table view, folders were always visible, regardless of the filters you had applied. Now we apply relevant project filters to folders for better filtering (but not task filters - don't get confused!).
ย
If you have filters applied in New Table view, they might rule out showing a parent item, while a subitem of that parent item should be shown. In this case, the parent item will be visibly but greyed out, while the subitem remains fully visible.
ย
- Wrike for iOS Version 2022.4.3 ๐
We've launched a new version of our iOS app, it includes bi-directional email support in activity and stream, as well as a few minor tweaks and bug fixes - what are you waiting for, it's time to update!
ย
HI @...,
regarding AI Subitem when you plan to support also Italian language?
Thanks
Hey Pietro Poli, apologies for the late reply, I needed to check with our Product team. It's possible they will start researching this possibility for the AI subitem creation to work in languages other than English next year ๐
