Locking Folders/projects in place

A way to lock folders and projects in place. It's too easy to accidentally move a folder into another folder. One team member may move a folder accidentally and not tell someone.

I agree that folders/projects can too easily be accidentally dragged into another folder.

IF this is a work in progress is there any way with the permission to restrict team members accidently moving or deleting?

Hi Nathalie Riebel, you can customize user roles in order to restrict certain actions. You can find more information about it here

So, I'm not seeing a way, even with customizing roles, to restrict access to moving folders. The article didn't go into that detail.

Is there an easier undo to move back a folder when it is accidentally moved (as seems to have happened a few times recently).

Hi, Olivia Westerfield welcome to the Community! Thank you for chiming in. As mentioned in the thread, you can prevent users from moving folders by using Access Roles.

Only the users who have Full access roles can change the location of the items that are shared with them, so by providing them with an "Editor", "Limited" or "Read-only" access roles, you will prevent this from happening.

Also, you can create your own access role from the Account Management settings and provide customized rights to users while removing the ability to move folders, projects, and tasks.

Is this what you were looking for?
