ordering tasks without assigning dates
I am often assigning a series of tasks to people, and it is crucial that they are done in the right order. However, it makes no sense for me to schedule the date of each subtask, that needs to be done by the assignee.
Hence, it would be amazing if I could create a task and easily assign an order (e.g. drag and drop), without it automatically assigning a date.
Hi Martin Kahn, welcome to the Community, and thank you for taking the time to share your use case and feedback here. I'm passing it on to our Product team🙋🏻♀️
I too would love this! Having items in the order I would like would be amazingggg.
Hi Danielle Cloonan, welcome to the Community! Thank you for chiming in. It is possible to rearrange the order of tasks manually when using the Priority sorting:
You don't need to set up dates for your tasks to apply the priority sorting and this logic also applies to subtasks. Is this what you were looking for?

Hello Juan,
SOO much better, thank you! I wonder if after I put it in order, then freezing the column would help. Thank you Thank you Thank you!!
Hi Danielle Cloonan, I'm glad to hear the info was useful. When freezing a column, it will stay in one place when scrolling, you can find more details about this feature here.
After you finish putting your tasks in order, they should remain as you arrange them - no need to follow any additional steps. Please, let us know if you have any additional questions!
