Is Analyze easy to use?

Wondering if Analyze is easy to use/ set-up, etc?  Our challenge is creating complex, month-over-month reports using data from different areas (project custom fields, task info and timelogs) which currently is being done through data pulls and excel.  For those users of Analyze, is it easy or is there a large learning curve?

Nancy Lawrence my personal experience has been that Analyze is a very large learning curve. If you are more familiar with analytics in general and writing your own formulas (sounds like maybe you are since you're using Excel to manage data), it will probably be easier for you. That said, so far I've discovered that anything "custom" can't be added with just a few clicks. I'd be prepared to spend a decent amount of time determine what info you need, how that will be calculated. But generally speaking, it's not nearly as UI-friendly as the rest of the Wrike interface.

Jessie, I completely agree with Nancy. Besides interfaces not being friendly, documentation and code examples don't exist. 😞

When we purchased Wrike Analyze I had no experience with analytics or JSON formulas like a traditional developer or analyst but the templated widgets and boards set me in the right direction and the onboarding and training support from professional services taught me how to use the filters and begin to custom create formulas (I recorded the sessions so that was super helpful to play back). I still send in support tickets frequently to get help where it's needed and I'm super excited for the new help forum and Herine's tips!

You'll get there in a few weeks of practice and with the help of Professional Services but that learning curve is way too long in my opinion. There is a lot to improve in this module.

Hi Nancy, Wrike Analyse is easy to use if you had any BI/Analytics background. Otherwise, there is definitely a learning curve and how your Wrike projects are setup (workflows, custom fields, time, effort, etc) will have an impact on how easy (or complex) it may be to develop reports and dashboards that suit your needs.

Regarding documentation. Wrike uses Sisense for Analytics, you can find more information here
