Custom Views and Default Views
Curious about the custom views and default views. Did anyone have to reset all of theirs? I'm trying to determine if it was a Wrike issue or if an internal user did something.

Thank you Lisa. I submitted a ticket. Hopefully it will be a quick fix!
The support tells me it should be solved. On my side most of my views are back.
Julien Delille I can see they are working on it but still having issues ... duplicates and my defaults aren't back.
Shelly Erickson : I cleaned some old stuff wich came back and reassigned my default views
Did this get resolved? I can't find anything in HELP to help individuals to assign a default view.
Hi Curtis Jackson, this Help Center article has the detail on this. Check out the section on Custom Views. Does this help you achieve what you're trying to? If you need more help be sure to let me know 👍

Hi Elaine, thank you. I did not think about considering this a custom view. However, your instructions is not pertinent to LightSpeed. I was able to translate the instructions to fit the navigation for LightSpeed.
The "+" sign does not exist anymore next to the views listed. You have to click on "All". Then click on "Add View" where the "+" exists. There are a couple more changes that need to be updated.
To set a Default View, you click on "All", then the 3 dots next to the view you desire as a default.
There are other differences also. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction.
I do have another question. If I save the Custom View, it appears to only be available for that project only. I thought it would be in the selection for views under "All" if I saved it and available for at least any of my projects.
Thank you for your feedback Curtis Jackson! Our Help Center is being rewritten at the moment and it takes some time, but we're committed to update it asap. Thanks again for flagging it!
Custom views work for specific spaces, folders, or projects, yes.

Thank you, Lisa.
I think you misunderstood my question about Custom Views. I had expected the Custom View that I created to be available for all projects in our space if I selected "Public". If the choices had been, "Personal" or "Project Only", then I would have understood to mean only this project.
Can the feature be changed to create a Custom View that is available for the whole space if I select "Public"? Maybe have three options:
Personal | This Project Only | This Space Only
Just a suggestion/request...
Hi Curtis Jackson, thank you for your reply! You are correct in your understanding: the custom view is applied to the folder/project where you create it only. Also, by making it "Public", you will make it available for other users but only in that project/folder.
Thank you for your feedback and suggestions! I've passed your comments on to our dedicated team 👍
