I'm definitely most excited about the New Automation Trigger with the Task dates!! This is a great addition for us!

Watched the video and excited about the ability to lock down space creation to only Private spaces! This will help eliminate the confusion and ensure that only specific teams are allowed to create public spaces. 😀

Debbie Brownlie we have recently published a post on Work Templates explaining the difference between Blueprints and Work Templates, in short, we view them as next-generation Blueprints you can read more about it here. Please let me know if you have any questions 👀

Debbie Brownlie I agree with you. The only thing that I see that makes them different is that they can be chosen from the list of options when creating a new item and its available in the + menu at the top:

I set up one for meeting notes to try it out, but I really don't see the benefits of using this over a blueprint.

Excited about the new Work templates, but can't dig too much into them until they can be triggered by request forms!

I am also waiting until the templates can be used in the forms !

Thanks for all the great work! Work Templates look really promising. I would like to have the ability to customize them to some extent or create my own. I also would like to have the ability to trigger a template from a request form.

I'm really excited to dig into the Work Templates! I love that they have custom fields.

I don't yet see the benefit of Work Templates over Blueprints.  Our Blueprints already have pre-assigned users and custom fields.  In addition, any user can create a new project using a request form that pulls the correct Blueprint based on a series of questions asked.  Project start date is driven by the request form and the Space/Folder the project lands in is also driven by the request form.  Work Templates do not offer any of this control from what I can see...I'd love to have someone show me if I'm mistaken though, as I can see Wrike is pushing this as a potential replacement to Blueprints in the future.  But this would create a massive amount of extra work for our project creation in it's current state, and we run 50+ projects per year.

Thank you for sharing your feedback on Work Templates! The team has plans to introduce improvements to this new functionality, and adding work template support to request forms in one of them 😊

Trevor, thanks for sharing what I was also thinking. When Wrike comes out with new concepts, a video demo would be helpful to really grab the concept as I too don't see the profound benefit in blueprints over templates. There are so many other areas and features that would be more beneficial to users.
