- Automation Engine - Date Trigger is here! ๐ค
We know a lot of you will be really excited about this release, Date Trigger in the Automation Engine now available! Thanks to the Community members who shared their feedback on this. This new trigger is called Date in the field meets a condition. It works for active tasks and projects and can trigger automation rules when a start or due date or a date in a custom field is approaching or is already overdue.

Note: The trigger doesn't take work scheduleโโ settings into account โand counts 24h calendar days.

We've added general support for tasks and projects created from templates (these items can be opened from your Inbox, push notifications, etc).

Fixes
- Daily To-Do Emails Stopped Coming Through
Eagle-eyes users noticed that they've stopped receiving Wrike daily to-do emails since October 4th ๐ฒ. It's been fixed and your email should have returned to standard operating procedure.
- Users Couldn't Add Personal Messages to Invitations
Some users lost the ability to attach personalized messages while inviting new users to their account, this made us sad and we've fixed it. Go ahead and make your invites extra heart-felt ๐
- Work Templates - Drag And Drop Attachments to Templates ๐ค
It was always our intention that users could attach files to Work Templates via drag and drop, but it wasn't working that way. Now it is!
I told all my colleagues to switch off this email notification thing - so we didn't miss it :-)
I'm the same as Florian - we dont use this feature.ย

I advice everyone to turn off email notifications as well and use the Wrike Inbox directly.

I agree with the posters here -- I advise my team to turn off notifications and work directly from the Wrike Inbox.
I am not seeing the Date in the field meets a condition as a selection when creating an automation rule. Am I looking in the wrong place?
Hi Jeanine Lore, at the moment the date trigger is unavailable to some users due to a bug. Our Product team is aware of this and they are working on a fix.
