Reorder Tasks on Calendar
Looking for a way to reorder tasks in a calendar. Basically, my team has a calendar layer that we are using for video shoots, which normally fall on a specific date at a specific time. I'm looking for a simple way to reorder those shoots, when there are more than one on a certain date. Sometimes we have shoots get added, the times changed, etc, and I'd like to be able to change the order that they are displayed in the calendar based on their start times.

If I understood you correctly, you'd like to reschedule certain tasks when there are more than one on one day. It's possible to reschedule tasks and projects on Wrike calendars by drag and drop, here's a guide on how to do that.

That works well for moving a task to a new date, but that's not the issue I'm having. I want to be able to reorder tasks within a given date, like for example if I have two video shoots scheduled for 2:00 and 3:00, and another one comes up for 1:00. That 1:00 will display third in the calendar on that date, even though it occurs before the other two. Probably has to do with when the tasks were created, but it would be nice to be able to choose the order they are displayed in.

This is needed . . . we have many tasks on the same day that are time specific and if they are not entered in order they do not display in order . . . serious gap here.

Agreed, can you please help? Have two shoots for one day, so would also like to be able to nest the sub tasks

Thank you for checking in, Deborah Grunfeld and Joe Lucero! 🙋🏻♀️ Currently, manually reordering tasks within a single day on a calendar is not supported. The task order depends on the creation time; newer tasks appear at the bottom.
As a workaround, you can use task titles to include a time prefix (e.g., "08:00 AM - Task Name") to help visually sort tasks when viewing them in the calendar. This won't change the order in the calendar but can help you identify the sequence at a glance.
