[Status: Launched ๐] Custom Views: Push view to child projects and folders
Custom Views are a good start, but the are only available on the project or folder view where you first build it. If you go down one level they disappear.
Really we need an option to push a view we are happy with to all the child folders and projects.
The only way to get this now is to be very meticulous about building blueprint and then ensuring that all of the projects are created from that blueprint or duplicated from a project with the views.
Another example where Wrike does do what we want but it is very fiddly and fragile. Touch your nose, stand on one leg and spin counter clockwise and it works perfectly :)
Stretch goal: Allow administrators to add custom views as universal options to the Add view to this project menu.
I want to add my voice to this much-needed request.ย Having to reproduce the order of columns repeatedly is a waste of valuable time.ย Any help to move this along would be greatly appreciated.ย

Lisa Any updates from your previous investigations from 2021? This is a very time consuming issue for our Wrike instance as well.ย
This definitely a must. When you are managing large quantity of project it is an issue. The Wrike user interface can be quite problematic for users and any way to standardise the experience is a plus. Please provide feedback on the feasibility of this upgrade.

Huge time suck, especially as the new table is not reflecting the old table view, columns and info available. Having to now go through a large number of plans to rectify and display info we have already applied.ย This would have made it so much easier, although the new table displaying the same as the old would have been an obvious fix.

Adding to the thread to express my interest in this feature as well. Adding the option to standardize the format for project views across a folder or space would be an incredible efficiency play. Also will streamline training for new users as standardizing project set up helps new users learn the platform and the team's process/workflow more quickly.

I'm glad this is finally under investigation! Just echoing the comments many have made since my own previous post on this thread over a year ago, this is single-handedly the MOST painful part about using Wrike for me as a system admin. I recently wanted to switch all of my team's projects to the new table view in preparation for a training (so that everyone's interface looked the same and I didn't get confusion and frustration from my audience). Because of item nesting and the sheer number of projects we have, I have had to reconfigure HUNDREDS (I kid you not!) of views to match the columns and layout we need. Utterly exhausting and countless hours wasted! I can't express how urgently this is needed.
I agree that having an ability to push views down the tree would be a great solution, but I can also imagine other versions of the solution depending on the use case. We use custom items, for example, and it would be so simple for us to be able to create a view at the custom item template level that pushes out to all of the matching custom items in existence and can be locked by the admin so that it cannot be changed by the end user.ย
Again, I am glad this is under investigation, but I want to stress its urgency and would be happy to lend support to team in terms of user stories if that is at all helpful.ย

Still in need for this feature with lightspeed!
Being able to use a custom view in ANY folder is one of my top requests. Views are personal and each person has their preferences. It would be great if custom views could be added via the the menu so it can be selected or made the default view (for yourself if personal, or available to everyone like other views). If only a user could make multiple views so that they can choose one as THEIR default view, but have the other (standard AND custom views available to easily click when that view is desired. Please, please, please, please, please, please!!!!!!ย Having custom views in Dashboards would be wonderful as well!

Completely agree with the above - I'd like to be able to create "views" and then be able to right click on a folder or project and "apply view" from a list of views that have been created. Any updates on this?

Absolutely needed here as well - We use custom views in our Blueprints and every time we make a change I need to change it through every project. More than that I would like to lock down views so that we make sure fields that we need completed get completed.
Any traction here - this is taking so much time away from me administratively

I've added my upvote as well. The custom fields we have defined are not all applicable to all projects we run. As such, having a set of views available which can be chosen from on a project/folder basis would be really helpful. As it is, we have people creating duplicate views every time they start a new project which is mad.ย
