Auto numbering by tasks

I can see that you've already discussed this with our Support - currently it's not possible to automate task numbering.

Blows my mind that this isn't a feature!

Thank you Cansu! It would be really helpful even to just have unique ticket IDs

WBS is a must in project management.  There are a lot of comments in the community.
But where can i found the final state?

Agree numbering is essential - We also need it for our RAID reporting - it is getting really hard when you filter by open risks only and then can't see where the numbering is up to

Are you using Wrike's RAID template, or did you create your own process for RAID reporting?

Yes I am using the RAID template, however rather than using the scoring fields, we have used custom fields to capture ratings for our risks and used the automation tool to give us a residual risk rating based on the input of the previous 2 columns

Numbering is need not just for RAID, but for all Folders, Tasks and sub tasks - the Same as Jira uses for every issue/story/epic, ect. This should be a standard naming convention that is enforced

We've also got a requirement for auto numbering or at least unique IDs for Wrike - has there been any progress on getting this scheduled?
