Color Coding for Importance Column in Table View

Some of our teams use the Importance column in table view to sort and filter their work. It would be great if the cells or text for High, Normal, and Low in the Importance column were color coded (i.e. High = Red). This would make it easier to look at and have your attention drawn to the items you are looking for.

Hello Kiona Bell, welcome to the Community! Thank you for adding your support to this suggestion. As an alternative, I'd like to mention that you could create a single-select custom field named "Importance" - or similar - and set a color for each option:

Would this work for you?

Sonia Wagner - I agree. The list view was way better & I have problems with the start & end date showing up. I always have to refresh my browser to get it to show up.

I'd like to see this too. It's been 4 years since this thread was started. Why did you remove the red exclamation mark? It's not like it wasn't already there before in list view.

Hi Michelle K.! Thank you for your feedback. 😊

As suggested previously, would creating a single-select custom field named "Importance"—or something similar—and setting a color for each option work as a workaround for you?

Nevertheless, I have shared your feedback with our product team. 👍🏽

I've had a similar issue as I've started to use Wrike. The downside to making a custom field is that the custom field can not be applied across spaces and so i have to make the same custom field 3 times, once for each space. If people have projects and tasks across all three spaces, then to see the "priority" field i custom created in one of their dashboards, it has to show up 3 times or rather in 3 columns to cover all 3 spaces .

Hi Christina Pisani 🙋I apologise for the delayed response!

Thanks for sharing your comment. Have you tried creating an account-level custom field instead of a space-level one? Account-level custom fields are available across all spaces, projects, and folders in your Wrike account. This way, you’ll have just one "Priority" field that appears as a single column everywhere, including dashboards and reports that span multiple spaces.

When creating or editing a custom field, select the option to make it available to the entire account (not just a specific space). I hope this helps, let us know if you have any questions 🙂
