Work Schedule Calendar Exception by the Hour
I'd like to create a calendar exception in the work schedule by the hour. Just mark that I'm off at noon or off at 3pm, for example, for just one day. I'm an outside source for a business and I work in Wrike for them. It's helpful for me to be able to mark when I'm out of the office away from their usual working hours as the other teams, for example, wouldn't know that. Does that make sense?
Hi Erin Engle, welcome to the Community and thanks for sharing your feedback here! 🙂
It makes total sense, I'll be passing your feedback to the team and once it reaches 60 upvotes, our Product team will add a status here. More info here: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360014354593--Read-Me-Product-Feedback-forum-Guidelines-and-Statuses
For now, I'd suggest using a calendar for this. You can create a folder for your times off, and create a task for each time like that. Then create a task-based smart calendar that will be showing tasks from the folder created by you. Share that calendar with the team members who need to know you're not in the office. This is workaround, of course, but I hope it might help! Please let me know if you'd like to discuss, I'll be happy to provide more details 🙌

What is the status of the development of work schedule by hourly basis?
Hello Yahya Sampurna, welcome to the Community 😊
Currently, this suggestion is not in the short-term roadmap of our Product team but please do upvote the original post if you haven't yet. As Lisa shared above we'll be assigning a status for this thread after the idea receives 60 upvotes. You can read more about how we work with Product feedback in this Community post. Please let me know if you have any questions.
This would definitely be useful. Also being able to customize the reasons for time off. There is another thread for this https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/115000146989-Custom-Classifications-for-Calendar-Exceptions but for some reason I can't comment there.
We need to be able to categorize types of leave for HR reporting. Without being able to customize the exception types we need to have everyone report time off in two places, in Wrike for projects and in another tool for HR.
Hi Sarah Irving, thank you for sharing your feedback, I'm passing it on to our team now.
