Update a users primary email address
I am an admin and I have a user that can no longer access wrike. We have updated the domain for a number of users in the firm and his old domain can no longer access Wrike.
I would like to update his primary email to the new domain so he can login.
Any help or guidance here.

You can update a user's primary email address by accessing the User Management Chart. You can find this in your Account Management tab. For a tutorial on how to change this, follow this link.

Thanks, Thomas. I'm interested in whether an Admin can update the primary email address on behalf of a user. We have situations where a user's domain email address has changed and because of SSO, they cannot get into their old account.
Agree that this would be good, Jennifer. I couldn't find a way to do that - don't think it's possible but happy to be corrected!
Hi, Also looking for a way to do this. I have a user who had a name change and their SSO email was update for Microsoft, but won't allow for Wrike login.
Hey folks, it is possible for admins to edit the users' names and emails as described here - it's available on Business accounts and up 👍

Lisa, unless I am missing it, this just shows how to add a second email address and not how to change the primary?

Hi Lisa, the instructions did not address our primary email issue. To change the user's primary email, Wrike had to make the change for us.
Wrike Support - please stop before sending off a template response. Issue is specific to changing PRIMARY EMAIL address (not adding a secondary email address).

As a note here in case anyone else is still struggling with this and finds this thread like I did, I was able to update the primary email of a user today. We had to add a secondary email, have them verify that secondary email, and then I was able to remove the old primary email from their account which updated the secondary email to be primary. Seems a bit round about really, but got there.
I am having the same issue - however, when I added their secondary email and they verified, I was unable to remove the old primary email. Is our only solution to put in a ticket?
