"Today" vs. "This Week" in My Work

I'm confused about why some tasks are in This Week rather than Today.

Here's what the help article about My Work says:

  • Today: shows tasks whose scheduled start or due date is today, backlogged tasks, and tasks where today’s date falls between the task’s scheduled start and due dates. Overdue tasks also appear in the Today section if they are less than one month overdue or if they have been modified within the last two weeks.
  • This Week: shows tasks whose scheduled start date is this week (excluding tasks which fall in the today category).

But I have tasks in This Week where today's date falls between the task's scheduled start and due dates. Shouldn't they be in Today?

Hi Claire, hope you're enjoying using Wrike so far!

Tasks in My Work only appear in the Today section when the due date of the task matches the day you are looking at it. For example, a task that is running from the 20th to the 23rd of August will appear in This Week if you were to look at it on the 22nd of August, and would appear in Today on the 23rd.

Hope this answers your question! 😊

@Hugh, that's not what the documentation says, and it's also not what I'm seeing on my screen, I'm afraid. The documentation says Today includes "tasks where today’s date falls between the task’s scheduled start and due dates."

Hi @Claire! Can you please tell me whether you'd moved that task to This Week manually?

Hmm, I don't think so. I suppose I could have accidentally!

@Claire, manually moved tasks stay in the section where you moved them. If you don't think that's the case, I could raise a Support ticket for you to troubleshoot - please let me know!

I also wanted to mention this Community post in case you missed it: https://help.wrike.com/hc/en-us/community/posts/360033472074--From-Wrike-Smart-Folders-are-coming-to-a-Personal-Space-near-you-. My Work is going to be leaving Wrike in Q4, details are in the post.
