Hello Sebastián Inostroza.  Until it is released as a feature, supposedly in the next few months, you can use the "Lunar Reader" browser extension (I learned about it somewhere in these four pages of comments).  Works okay...

Your pinned message about "implementing dark mode" was exactly ONE ENTIRE YEAR AGO. There have been multiple updates since then... Seems like Wrike doesn't value customer feedback at all. Insane. 

Lisa, I have asked this before, but is there any chance you ask your developers, while we are waiting for dark mode to be implemented, if the could allow the iPad app (with dark mode) to be installed on M1/M2 Macs? Apple allows this by default but Wrike has opted out of this for some reason. This would really help us while we are waiting for the native app to gain this much anticipated feature. Thank you!

In light of the recent updates, we should give serious consideration to implementing a dark mode option for non-developer Wrike users. It could greatly enhance user experience and align this platform with current industry trends.

Lightspeed is blinding with how white it is. This needs to be addressed more than ever. Please get this in the que asap. 

Wrike just does not care. It is available in developer mode. It is just not a priority for them, which means their customers are not a priority. Only reason I still use it is because my company makes me.

Hi all!

Working late and I couldn't stand the glaring UI of Wrike -- very bright even with f.lux running.  Anyway I found a work around for the time being.  I'm running Windows 10 and using the Chrome browser to access Wrike, haven't attempted other setups.

1.  Windows 10 -- go to Settings > Personalization > Colors, select "Dark" under "Choose Your Default Ap Mode".  macOS -- navigate to System Preferences > General and activate dark mode.

2.  Launch Chrome, enter "chrome://flags" into the address bar and hit Enter

3.  Use the search bar to search flags for "dark mode", click the box to the right of "Auto Dark Mode for Web Contents" and select "Enabled" as the default setting.  

4.  Relaunch Chrome

Nicolaas, that is some good feedback, I hope it helps some people out. Sadly where I am all settings are locked down. I find it humorous that we have AI features and still no dark mode. Wild.

Chris Van Horn Yesterday Lisa mentioned that they're planning to release it by the end of this year. Speculation is not to expect it until New Year's Eve unless Lisa states otherwise. I've seen this feature's announced timeline be push-back-defined as this year in general, then Q4 in general, and now by the end of the year, so it's not a stretch to say this won't be a priority especially since they've maintained business without the feature for so long.

What does this mean for us beyond wait and prepare for potential further delays? This means the first implementation might not have the attention it needs while they focus on other priorities, so report any bugs or strange implementation you find and cross your fingers the Wrike team has been allowed time and resources to finesse the feature--especially after such a long waiting period to get it in the first place. Our best chance to get updates is to comment and request adjustments before the team completely shifts focus to something else. We don't want to wait another 4+ years to get this feature back on their radar for updates.

Our team is looking forward to this and was expecting it the end of October 2023 & hopefully it will really be delivered sooner than later. Not having this is tough on the users eyes using Wrike daily.

It's coming! I hope it has an option to make it match the dark mode on the iPad and iPhone and not just this dark blue. But at this point I'll take it!

So, is Dark Mode live? Or was this just a tease from what Dale posted im lost.

4 years and counting to implement a Dark mode?  Come on Wrike!

The good news is that if Wrike keeps their word we will have dark mode in less than 45 days! 

What is the status of this? We're in the final 45 days of 2023... and the original updates said it was coming in 2023. Is it?

"release is planned for 2023" meaning us peasants will get it 12-31-2023. if we're lucky....... been over four years now i'm not holding my breath....

31 days to go!!! I just had wrike opened and it is so bright! Even this forum is too bright!! Can't wait for Wrike's 100% guarantee promise to release it in the next 31 days! I have no doubt in my mind that any issues or delays will happen, this is it! LETS GO!!

Elaine Thank you for the update! Wrike's dark mode on iPad and iPhone looks great, using Apple's interface standards they have nice dark gray tones. Can you confirm that is how it will look on the desktop release? The mockups they showed during Collaborate looked blue. Is this possibly just an additional color option? 

I don't understand how it could take so long for a dev team that implements ai and other algorithms' takes FOUR YEARS to do something as simple as change a color scheme.....

Hi Nelson Hall, when we're rolling out new functionality we need to take into account everything that's been requested and prioritize to decide what gets implemented. We consider what the most requested features are, what will have the biggest impact, what's most feasible etc. the list goes on!

It's for this very reason that some things get rolled out quicker than others. There's more info on how we work with Product feedback available in this Community post.

DARK MODE IS HERE!!  Thank you to everyone in the Wrike community that pushed for this and thank you for the community team for being so kind to everyone even though they got asked this 24/7. 

Finally! Thank you Wrike developer team! I'd appreciate a dark mode Theme that is a little less blue, though! - Maybe a topic for the future (Maybe also OLED)?
