How to Drill down into Project Report - jump to list view
When I open a report based on projects, I have the ability to select the project name and Wrike will open the project panel.
How do I then jump to a list view or table view of that project to drill down into the tasks?
Hi Carl, and welcome to Community! See the screenshots below on how you'll need to navigate from the Project Panel to see the related tasks in that Project.
If you'd like to create a Report where tasks are quicky visible you can create a Report based on tasks and then group the report by Project.
Stephen, Thank you for your response. I was aware of this technique. In my case, when I back out of the project panel into the parent folder, there are a lot of projects and finding the specific one is not as simple.
In some of the similar task views, there is an option under the elipsis (...) to open task in separate window. That is a little clunky as well, but works a little better. Using the method you described, clicking on the label works well with tasks. For projects, the best would be a way to view the project in list view.
My workaround now is to actually copy the project id number out of the browser URL address field, then search on that id number. That keeps me from getting lost, but is pretty clunky and not an intuitive hack for most users.
Thanks, Carl
Carl, I'm jumping in for Stephen here; happy to see you here 🙂

I agree with Carl. We have the ability to quickly jump to the list view of a project from a Dashboard with the double box icon. It would be nice to have this same feature in reports, or from the project panel be able to expand the full project. This is particularly important for our business owners of projects who are collaborators and do not have access to Dashboards.
Greetings,
I want to bump this call-out by Carl to see if we can get some traction on this. I agree with Carl in saying that the current method of clicking on the project location from the view panel opens a long list of projects that adds a lot of unnecessary clicks and time during a projects review meeting. If we could get a list view added within the projects report panel view, that would keep us from having to change screens constantly during reviews. Thanks!
Hi Scott Norris 👋 Thank you for supporting Carl's post here! I will move it to our Product Feedback forum so it can enter our feedback process 👍
