[Status: Backburner ⏳] Customize Wrike inbox notifications and search inbox
Hello Wrike Team,
It would be great if there were options to choose what notifications come into your inbox, similar to what we can do for Outlook notifications.
Feedback from colleagues is that they are getting notified every time they are assigned to something, which is a lot. This can be frustrating sometimes because they are able to see their tasks in 'My work' and/or their 'dashboards' (depending on the account they have), which means they have to delete all of these notifications. However, I don't think this notification should be removed entirely, but I think an 'opt-in' or 'opt-out' for particular messages will be useful and beneficial to suit the different working styles.
Also, it would be useful if we could search in the Wrike inbox so we can find specific messages, and from certain people.
Many thanks,
Kristina
Agree, this would be a great feature to add in Wrike Inbox. Too many email notifications leads users to disabling them all, which defeats the purpose of notifications.
Was just about to post asking about this feature would be a huge improvement to the Wrike inbox
Please implement this
Hi everyone, thank you for your feedback! Our Product team has plans to research our Search functionality, so great timing! I'll let you know when I have more info on that!

Hi everyone, has there been any development on this topic? It would be great to be able to filter the inbox to one particular team member, is that possible?
I'd also love to see this feature implemented. At the moment we have to check email for Wrike notices because not all notices go to the Wrike inbox, which undermines the value of the Wrike inbox feature. I'd love to be able to stay in Wrike for all my Wrike notifications.
Thanks for listening!
Hey Tim Baker, thanks for adding your feedback and insight here, and welcome to the Community 🙂
We've passed on your feedback to the team. Please do check out the link Cansu shared above for more information on how we work with Product Feeback.

I would love to have similar options to customize the preferences as I do for email notifications. I want to actually see fewer notifications on a task instead of more, or focus on what actually pertains to me rather than every action taken on a task.
Same here, would be very useful
Thank you for supporting here, Laura Smetak, Pierre Cléaud! I'm passing your feedback to our Product team 👍 Please make sure to upvote the original post above if you haven't yet - the number of votes helps the team understand how popular the suggestion is. Here's more detail on that, but please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Wrike Team, have there been any developments on this topic? We're finding that our internal teams are having important notifications like @ mentions get lost within their Wrike inbox because of the influx of notifications about being assigned a task. They have already turned off email notifications about being assigned a task, but it's their Wrike inbox that is getting flooded.
We need an option to select which notifications appear within the Wrike inbox. From this thread, it looks like this has been an issue for 4 years now. Please provide a timeline towards a concrete solution.
Hi Ashley Sequeira, welcome to the Community 👋
Please let me share some detail on how this Product Feedback forum works. We have a voting system here where any Wrike user can upvote a suggestion when visiting the Community. We have a process for reporting all suggestions, feedback, and votes from this forum to our Product team, and they continuously review all of this data.
Once any suggestion reaches the 60 votes threshold, we add a Product status to it. You can check out more info on that and on the list of statuses in this post. I'd encourage you to upvote the original post above if you haven't yet. Our team can't commit to working on all or even most of the suggestions here, but the votes do help to estimate how popular an idea is. Hope you understand.
Please let me know if you have any questions!

Hi Wrike team,
I upvoted all topics regarding the topic of customize your preferences on inbox notifications. all together there more than 60 votes on this topic. Is there any chance this will be picked up by the product development team? It would be very, very, very helpful to have this.
Thanks a lot.
Jumping in here - I was just searching for a way to add filters or settings for my Wrike inbox much like I do for outlook notifications. We just recently conducted a big house keeping deleting out old projects etc. Because I was connected with these, my Wrike inbox was flooded with deleted tasks. It would have been nice to filter these out. This is huge!
Hi Audra Drazga, welcome back to the Community 👋

We need an option to select which notifications appear within the Wrike inbox.
The current design requires users to read and action every notification (by either archiving or responding), which is creating extra (and unnecessary) work for our whole team. Normally I'd just tell folks to ignore their inbox and use another tool, but as far as I know that's the only place we can see @ mentions...and those are too important to miss.
I agree that an 'opt-in' or 'opt-out' like we have for email notifications would help users get exactly what they need.
Thanks a lot for your feedback Allison Chase! We don't have an update on Inbox customization at the moment; I'll make sure to share your feedback with the responsible team 👍
